Theirs always that chance mate, then again could get someone in the saints game going throughone of ours the weke before, or have to play united soon so could see one fo theirs equally leave one in on rom or ross etc, end of the day i still think we should be going into every game to win and playing our best team, absolutely hate it when teams do a city in the cup for example from the other week

pretty sure that west ham wont leave payet out thier mid week game before the cup as well, so us doing so with some of ours just smacks of an evertonian mentality i hope we can start putting int he past - the eternal pesimist one, i want to go out and beat them at the pit for the first time in 17 years or so, not go and gift klopp a first derby win at the first time of asking - we need the cup - but we also need to shake the rs monkey from the players sooner or later as its getting ridiculous now

Spot on. Beat the RS, win the semi final, that's called a great week in football.

Also a week after the Derby they have the first game against Dortmund, just have Besic have a word with Henderson that if they attempt to 'DO' any of ours in the derby then Sturrudge and Coutinho will be getting stretchered off in casts

Can't be arsed resting players me for 2 reasons -

1. No chance I want to get stuffed against that gang of scruffs again if we can avoid it. No doubt Klopp would have them all holding hands in front of the Kop. No, pipe the tits right down by winning.
2. Momentum - best the RS, confidence will be sky high for the semi final.

Totally agree, only ones i would rest would be Baines, Jagielka and Barry - for stones, oviedo and besic, keeps them fresh and also a younger team against this rs team with more energy isnt a bad thing, stones will help against their gurkingeggergobshitepressing, and mccarthy and besic would dominate that centre mid

That's the thing for me, going into the semi - final on the back of a defeat against those beauts could have an effect on us.

what would confidence be like with Kone or Niasse up top after Lukaku misses out after a kick in the calf from that jack-ass Sakho?

This, that Sakho is a thug, them two have already had a run in once, we just dont need it right now, bigger things ahead then a mid table game against those idiots

Sean Connery rules. They put on of ours in the hospital, we put one of theirs in the morgue!!

Two games a week. Tough life being a footballer

They could play a game 7 days a week mate but they wouldn't be at 100% for games 2-7. That's just a scientific fact -- no amount of Sun inspired "soft millennials ... back in my day" claptrap anyone cares to vomit out of their rarely used minds is going to change that.

The fact Tommy "Sexual Harassment" Reallad back in the 70s played 3 games a week (all three somehow kicking off at 3pm on Saturday), smoked two packs a day and ate sausages for breakfast, lunch and dinner (and had a comb-over) does not mean it's actually a good idea for peak athletic performance.
