Did it for about 10 years at Athletico Bilbao before landing the Barca Job to be fair. See your point though.

To be fair, he's not been mentioned at all linking him to our role as far as I can see. I just recognised his name from 'that' barca team (which featured RK, Guardiola and Man City's current DoF) and put 2 and 2 together after doing a little research. I was intrigued when I read BK's comment that Koeman had worked with some of the candidates previously. Might be nothing in it, just ticked a couple of boxes.
 
Given Emery Is going to PSG, I wonder if Monchi is going to play FM2016 at the Parisians ?

I think given the restraints at Sevilla, Monchi is better at budget buys than just spending all day. Same way Moyes was generally a success at smaller buys see Cahill, Arteta and Baines as examples. (Fellaini wasn't bad)...

Not sure Emery and Monchi are linked as much as people think to be honest mate.

I can probably see him staying at Sevilla more then going anywhere else.

Where that leaves us i have no idea if he was the preferred candidate.
 

just seen a clip of vialli being interviewed about his admiration for goodison,bit weird this as it looked very recent and he was stood on the pitch!!am I jumping to conclusions?maybe he has been interviewed?

It was a good couple of weeks ago. Interview was on the radio/podcast pre Euro2016 starting I think
