@The Esk Both he and Monchi are known for their bargain buys so that doesn't bode well for a mega transfer pot it has to be said.

Doesn't matter how much they were worth when they signed really. We'd take Kanye, schmeichael, maharez, vardy, drink water and probably half the Seville squad because they are really good players. Pogba was a tribunal fee when he went to juve. Hopefully he'll continue to bring us these players who can develop and show fight and character

their owners seem to be handling it all very calmly. It's a shame really. Would have been nice to see that team in Europe. Hope it's just Kante they lose rather than the team being decimated. Unless they lose people to us

I don't think it's "bargain buys" as much as it's "value for money". Anyone can see the massive talents like Pogba and splunk huge money on them if they have that. It's the ones like Mahrez that almost literally nobody had heard of that can make a difference, that's massive. Just because a team has money doesn't mean it shouldn't be judicious to be frugal.
