Walsh is a much better signing for you guys than Monchi. Knows exactly the type of players that will work in the Premier League.

In the confusion with the other Steve Walsh, I had no idea that 'this' Steve is younger brother of Mickey Walsh who played for us in the late 70s.
That was before my time but I do recall Mickey playing for the ROI and scoring the winner vs. the USSR in 1984. Small world sometimes.

They had 1 freak year, makes me want Walsh and get Everton competing again, you know it has been too long when soughampton fans and Leicester fans see us as a bottom half club making up the numbers

I don't really know who he is. Shame on me.

Given he helped win a premier league on a shoestring there is clear ability there.

Just need to know more about him.

Seems like a shrewd signing if we can get him on board. Hopefully he can unearth a few gems for us. It reminds me that it's not just about marquee signing but also about having a good team behind the scenes.
