The three players mentioned above for Chelsea hardly required scouting TBF. Drogba was very well known for example.
I think the Leicester job is his main sucess, and I'm of the opinion that he and indeed Leicester just had a freak of a season at the perfect time.

Guess we will all see what happens next eh.

Point of note, we don't actually have a head scout or anything at the moment, so maybe the press and getting mixed messages and this guy will come in as head scout, but we'll still get in a DoF to oversee the football operations.

He's got course and distance premier league winning form, and for all my own personal scepticism over how good Leicester actually were.. He has the medal Dosent he.

He was part of the scouting process at Chelsea, how much involved I don't know. But looking at some of the names mentioned one of them is Zola, who if I remember was about 29 and a full Italian international when Chelsea acquired him.

Just a few months ago Leicester winning the league was all down to Claudio, now Steve Walsh is linked it's all due to him.

We need to be realistic and stop putting people on a pedestal all the time. Let's see if it's announced official by the club and what his role will be.

Aye and lets face it hardly any of us (i know i don't for starters) have a clue about whose good or not amongst DoF, honestly couldn't have even named one of them with a degree of certainty that they where one before Monchi hit the papers etc

He shouldn't be put on a pedestal, but he shouldn't be written off either. Leicester winning the league wasn't down to him but Leicester fans seem to think he played a big part in their recent success.
