What strikers? Where are they?

I suppose it was more of a allegorical statement that about specific strikers mate. My point is, that just because you're not as good as Harry Kane doesn't necessarily mean you are not good enough for Everton currently.

Lukaku isn't as good as Harry Kane, but was our best striker for about 25 years.

It will be interesting to see what type of striker they will go for.
A tall, powerful target man type or a smaller quicker more technically gifted forward. I think it may be the latter.

We will always have a target man type, who can come off the bench.
DCL is that man.

Marco Silva Brighton press conference highlights:

Kenny out with small injury.
Jags also out injured.
Both will be fit for training next week.
Disappointed with the United result. Some decisions both from the ref and ourselves cost us and we should've done better.
We challenged and competed with them and this is how we must always play.
Pickford and Coleman weren't berating Walcott last week but their criticism will help him with his positioning.
We should've done better at United with the chances we created.
Theo has the managers confidence but he also missed a big chance against Palace.
He is doing extra work with the forwards to improve them all.
Lookman and Bernard giving him a headache as they are pushing Walcott hard for a starting spot.
Richarlison needs a goal at Centre Forward to give him a boost but he is an example to everyone the way he gives 100% until the very last minute.
Tosun, DCL and Richarlison have all started games upfront. Niasse hasn't yet but they are all options against Brighton.
Mina ready to play but Zouma wont be dropped just because he's unavailable next week.
We need to secure 3 points against Brighton before we think of Chelsea.
The friendly match against Gor Mahia could be an option for Mina.
Zouma and Gomes came from big clubs and it's important they've settled well and are enjoying their football.
We will monitor them over the next couple of months and then decide whether it might be worth pushing for permanent deals for them both.
The attitude and feeling in the dressing room after the United game was the correct one and shows him the players are starting to respond the way they should be when playing the bigger clubs in their own stadiums.
Its important we keep winning and with style at home.
Its Silva's way and that is never going to change.
The players will be pushing the fans to create another great atmosphere at Goodison.
