But we're clearly going for 'tier 2' players (Witsel, Carvs) and atm they're proving harder to get over the line than say a player like Gueye merely because of the fact we have been a bit tosh for a while now.

But those are the ones that we need to take the side back to the next level mate. No more squad players.

True dat. Bobby has lot to answer for. I think we'll get some of our 1st choices, if not all. It'll just take a bit longer for the penny to drop that barca, the Madrid teams, juve, Bayern, Dortmund, psg, and half a dozen teams in the prem, we are a very attractive option in the grand scheme of world football.
