Fair call Davek, I see an issue with the "boards" stubbornness though, do we want to get relegated before positive change occurs?

That's ludicrous. We're nowhere near relegation fodder. If anything, the changes made in January have put us in a far better position for another good run at the several teams with far higher resources in 2012/13.

Would you agree he may have a chance given cash? Like all the other top 4 club managers?

We can't start getting hypothetical fella, Crawley Town might have won the F.A Cup last year "if they'd been given cash like all the other top 4 managers"...

In reality he's achieved nothing.

Hows that even relevant, and where did I say he should stay. I said he deserves some credit for stabilising an unsteady ship, which some people don't take into consideration

Credit does not equal either immunity to criticism or a job for life, though.

Moyes did a very good job for us in his first few years here and has many good points as a manager, that doesn't change any of what has been said about us possibly doing better with someone else and it being a good time to get rid.

We might as well just give up then eh? Moyes is obviously bigger than poor little Everton and we will die without him.

You're taking this to the extreme. My point all along is that given the budget constraints, no one is going to do a better job than Moyes. Many will do worse.

I'm not even sure that Moyes will do well with a ton of money. It's a different proposition for sure.

He doesn't have a job for life, but he's the right man for this board right now.

Thinking worst case scenario... New manager comes in, the board sell a couple of players from under him. New bloke gets say half of that? Buys poo. Loses the team mentality that Moyesy has fostered. Can go to **** quickly. Don't forget how far we've been down half way through seasons before we've kicked on... What if we don't kick on? I think its very realistic.

You forgot the relegation part. Nothing is going to change until the club is mortally wounded financially. Which is sad.

We haven't been relegated for 60 years...and with far worse players than these for much of that time.

People really have to start getting over their relegation fears. You cant make an omelette without cracking a few eggs.

No wonder you like Moyes. You've got his cowardly 'try not to lose rather than try to win' mentality down pat.

What if a new bloke comes in, gets us playing boss footy and wins the F.A Cup?

Exactly, this side is like 1970s Brazil compared to the dross that stayed up under Walter Smith. Relegation isn't an issue now or under a new manager.

We were playin boss footy for big parts of the last 3rd of the season! Don't get me wrong, I wanna win everything poss but have much respect for what the Scot has done, or not done.

If someone else was available that I thought could do a decent job then I'd go for it. Brendan Rogers could have been a goer, not now obviously!

Its a tough choice for me, on 1 hand im torn, I love David Moyes, there is no doubt in my mind that he is the best Manager Everton could have at this time, I really cant stress this enough, David Moyes in 10 Years has a net spend of around 35m, thats the same price our lovely neighbours across the park spent on 1 utter donkey, to put it into context Manchester City have a net spend of 650m in the same period.

So as I say, for me, hes the only Manager we should have.

But I do wish I could open up a parallel universe, a universe in which he leaves.

Then, after say 2 Years, when all the quality players he bought have left and been replaced by utter tosh by the dream team of Martinez and Coyle and right after our relagation to League One, I can turn round and say "I told you so".

It will hurt when he leaves, cos the only way is down, think some of you need to recall what it was like before he came, if you think that a new Manager will come in and suddenly be given 50m to change things around, then you need to put the lid back on that glue.
