We haven't been relegated for 60 years...and with far worse players than these for much of that time.

People really have to start getting over their relegation fears. You cant make an omelette without cracking a few eggs.

I was addressing your point that their would be change in the board if things don't go quite as planned. That isn't happening until something really drastic happens.

Again, placing blame where it isn't deserved. Everyone knows what the issue is. Changing the manager isn't going to make us better, we need more and better players.

If the board is the problem, why would we change managers?

At the end of the day, it's no longer in Everton's control. And it's once again a sad commentary on our board.

I don't think we do, our players have shown at times that we can play exciting attacking football. Its the tactics thats the problem and thats down to moyes.

You think the XI we trot out there every match is champions league quality? Certainly a few are, but as a whole, no, they are not.

That's why we've had so many big clubs come in for Moyes during his ten years here.

Oh wait.

How do you know how many jobs hes been offered?

You surely are aware how football works, Clubs dont pick up the phone and ring The Daily Mirror and say "Is David Moyes available", they ring up David Moyes.

It's funny I did a quick swot analysis last year of where people thought our league position should be with our squad and finances.

The majority said 8th- 6th which is where we finished. We have been competing in the league above what we should be in my opinion. Money talks and we don't have any but what we do have is a manager that gets the best out his players and can spot a bargain and that is exactly what is needed with the current board/ regime.

I wouldn't blame moyes for going- more money to at with- promise of a new stadium and challenging for europe

Why do we HAVE to replace him? And whereas I accept it is a relatively sought after job, who's to say we will improve under new management? It's all really hypothetical the scenario after Moyes leaves and people who don't like him seem to think we will win trophies under another manager, whereas those who like him think we will go down. It's incredibly biased either way. I don't expect everyone to like him, but being glad he leaves and wishing him away to be replaced by what would be a long shot? Yes a well paid gamble but a gamble none the less.

Mock all you like, he'll be one of the worlds top managers within five years, mate.

NOT MOCKING AT ALL!!!!

Loved to have seen what Moyesy could have done with Getafe's millions though. He spent big on Fella but took a couple of years to get going. Would he have been given that long to for a big money player to become a star elsewhere?
