For all this talk about it being a 'tough choice' for us fans, we really have no say in this whatsoever.

Putting a positive spin on it, it's 'win-win'' either way.

Davey stays - YAY!
Davey goes - YAY!

Davey said (regarding Pienaar) about players being a 'good fit' for certain clubs. Does this not apply to managers too? Will he do a Paul Lambert, who slapped Grant Holt for wanting to leave, then walking out himself a week or so later?

We haven't been relegated for 60 years...and with far worse players than these for much of that time.

People really have to start getting over their relegation fears. You cant make an omelette without cracking a few eggs.

Thing is, would a new manager be able to work with such poultry resources?????

Does anyone know what day or game Moyes is appearing on TV as a pundit at Euro 2012? He's bound to be asked about the Spurs connection surely.

I dare say we could find one that could put out a team that competes but it isn't going to be the good football we want to see played, more likely he would have them running around like headless chickens.

If Moyes does leave I think the following would be a lock.

1. Cahill off to the middle East. Funds go to bank.
2. Baines or Fellaini...maybe both gone. Partial funds to be used to rebuild squad to new managers' "vision."
3. Pienaar less likely to come back home to Everton. Maybe stay at Spurs.
4. We finish lower than 7th the first year, after that who knows.
5. New manager eventually moans about Everton being skint.
6. Massive moaning on GOT, but that will happen if Moyes stays as well.

In my opinion, this is a chance to get a manager who plays nice attractive football who gets the most out of the squad. Everyone acts like if we get a new manager we may be relegated, but it can't be just me who thinks we should have been doing much better this season with the squad we had available.

I want to get a new manager who plays nice football, and hey, if it goes wrong then it just means more and more fans get on Kenwrights back.

If they come in for him, hell go. There's nothing more he can do here without going to the next level, which sadly involves cash.

If they don't come in, he's in a comfy job that hell stay.

It's win win for him either way

Moyes is quite sensible, he will know if he stays here he can get away with finishing pretty much anywhere as expectations are low and Everton constantly punch above their weight etc. Opposite at Tottenham though, expectations are high, and if he doesnt finish in the top 4 he will be fired on the spot.
