If Moyes leaves, who ON EARTH could possibly replicate the scintilating home form of this past season?

Everton 0-1 QPR (17th)
Everton 1-1 Norwich (12th)
Everton 1-1 Blackburn (19th)
Everton 1-2 Bolton (18th)
Everton 0-1 Stoke (14th)
Everton 2-2 Aston Villa (16th)

We are nailed on to get relegated when he leaves, as our brilliant results above just show how seriously he takes us...i'm really scared guys, think of all those cups & trips to Wembley we'll miss out on too...

We've been spoiled, we as Evertonians shouldn't expect much but I must say, you are a hero David Moyes!

Those results evoke memories of maximum FUME.

A potted history of Everton FC (with particular reference to the past 10 years):

A succession of boards that have enjoyed the "glory" of being in charge of a football club - Moores was a great publicist but the reality is he made sure he got his money back, built us a hot-potch of a ground whilst all the time claiming it was the finest in the land... - but at least he had the balls to sack Carey when we were 4th!!!

We're content to mill around just existing - apart from the 60s (a fantastic side) & the era of the great Dixie we've swung between great & ordinary with no consistency whatsoever - we've managed to [Poor language removed] up when for the sake of a Peter Shilton OR Bobby Robson - or heaven forbid (to the board) a socialist manager like Clough - we could have been great... right now this board, despite obvious financial constraint can't leverage a tin of beans - it's always buy to sell never speculate to accumulate - - there's no business plan just a survival plan - if you want the cold truth the rare occasion we've been in the market to buy (without selling) it's been with Johnson owning the contracts (Ferguson etc.) not the club itself. He made sure he had his options to get his money back. So it's not surprising Moyes works with one hand tied behind his back. This board - IF THEY HAVE ANY FAITH IN HIM - right now - ought be bending over to give him some transfer money - otherwise (as per usual) we'll probably find a way to scrape by - in other words we'll take the £5M compo if he goes & use it to buy a player (and an average one at that). I'm not saying that we can't do worse than Bill cos you don't need to look very far to find a couple of really bad examples of owners - but we sure can do better. So, time to face some serious questions - if the club has any ambition it should show it - right f**king now.

Thing is, would a new manager be able to work with such poultry resources?????

Worked for Blackburn.

It was a pleasure watching West Brom, Newcastle, West Ham & Reading all come away from Goodison with points the season before last.

I dunno about you guys, but I was watching thinking how fortunate we were to not have Walter Smith here anymore, and how we'd certainly be relegated if it weren't for you know who. After all, a home draw to a side that got relegated is our expectancy level isn't it? It's not like we used to be the most successful club in the country, regularly winning trophies and adding to an already impressive honors list is it?

Losing 1-4 at home to West Brom when David Moyes is at the helm really is an absolute joy, we're so lucky to have you.

Maybe one day we could actually win a home game and put it on the timeline outside Goodison? Pipedream I know!

Once again, thanks David.

Remember when we got to the League Cup final last year? And the F.A Cup final the year before that?? The Charity Shield is a great day too, I remember it fondly back in 2007...

Wembley was a fantastic trip, so sad to know that i'll never make trips like that again now that David Moyes won't be in charge of us anymore...I guess we were spoilt!!

Oh well, hopefully we can make the League 1 playoffs at Wembley?? 'Cause it's certainly where we'll be headed without David "The Moyesiah" Moyes!

:(.

Oh man, I loved doing the double on Liverpool this year.

Such a fantastic feeling to get your rivals like that, pity we'll never do it again :(.

Heitinga and Neville in centre midfield that game, another example of his immense tactical abilities.

Yeah but if we had another manager apparently we wouldn't even field a starting XI and just forfeit every game.

Such is the amazingness of David Moyes, we're so f*cked.

If Moyes goes then it's AVB or bust in terms of realistic managers. He won't go, of this i am 100% certain, Moyes will not be the manager of Tottenham.
