Now you can travel anywhere in England from Wednesday. If they let the teams play behind closed doors at there own grounds.

It now means when Liverpool win the league all the weird fans they have from outside of the city can all flood to Liverpool to celebrate. That’s why I would rather them just stop it. Even if that means giving them the title so be it.
Joe Anderson called this and got a lot abuse from the "fix the potholes" morons, but he is %100 right, all the little Tory villages down south whill be straight up the M6.

Playing games at own stadiums is a complete not starter for me. The urge for fans in the local community to try and catch a glimpse of the game/get close is too much of a draw.

If they have to (although I'd rather they didn't), basing the teams and their squads at somewhere like st George's park might be a workaround.

By far the better option though is to just wait until all this is over

By how things are looking with the easing of the lockdown (whether official or unofficial) by the time June comes when they want to re start there'll be so many people wandering around, hanging out in parks and so on that the social distancing argument will itself be void.

I've accepted its coming back in neutral venues.

We can all say its wrong but the clubs ( Including ours ) will go for this restart.
All 20 clubs agreed they didn’t want it yesterday and would seek permission for home grounds to be used.

There’s no guarantee that 14 will vote for the neutral grounds option should that permission be refused.

There's no way it'll be resolved either way as the teams at the bottom have been given a lifeline and they've going to hold on to it. Those clubs have no intention of kicking another ball. I'm sure there may be a couple of other clubs who have the same thoughts for different reasons but they'll all be looking after themselves.

As are the PL players who fear they could be EFL players next year.

If BCD in home stadiums get's agreed, I still think the clubs will find another reason to vote against it. Why should Norwich have no fans for very winnable home gams against us, Burnley, West Ham, Southampton and Brighton when other teams have had that advantage. The players, with the support of their clubs, especially those in risk of relegation, will see it off if the clubs don't. That's before we factor in all the other issues.....of which, they're are far too many to mention.

It's done, this is all just lip service now.
So your saying if next season starts behind closed doors then it needs no fans all season just to make it fair

It’ll get null and voided, they’re just kicking the can down the road now. A lot of players seem against restarting, they can’t end it on current placings and relegate teams because it’ll end in lawsuits all over the place, ending it on ppg will go down the same route because not every team has played the same number of games. Only option is to erase this season from memory and start again

And if it does end in lawsuits, then what will the football authorities do if the 'relegated' teams refuse to play any fixtures in the lower division while their legal challenge is ongoing? And legal challenges could go through several tiers, and many months, if the first legal challenge is not successful. Could be MOST interesting...

Plan, decision, whatever. Its crass whatever way you look at it. People are dying in their hundreds and the PL are bending over backwards for this. It is a disgrace.

Its not crass, they have to PLAN, no decision will be made until a few days before the PLANNED start. The final decision will be made by the experts. If it’s not safe to do so they won’t be starting anything. Do you really think if it wasn’t safe they’d just start anyway? The PL aren’t bending over backwards at all, why on earth would they? They are leaving their options open........hoping. Just like hundreds of thousands of companies are doing by furloughing, buying time hoping it settles. Or can’t these organisations have a plan? It’s probably not going to in the time frame they want it to though, so it’s it’s all moot anyway. No need to be so outraged though.
