See the mancs are rightly worried about the mutants from Mordor gathering at the etihad, and there goes Herr Gurn spouting his usual bolloxs - I'm still laughing at his "this title is harder to win" [Poor language removed] from the other day!

Please do stick it in a neutral venue, just to make sure the fucktards don't turn up - it would be yet another example of this sham, illegitimate season if they have to do that.

The whole restart has been garbage - any semblance of a proper competiton flew out the windlow before the first ball was kicked, with the arsenal positive tests fiasco and also all the rule changes, 18 subs-10 used, the bloody drinks breaks and the home teams penalised and not allowed (understandably so) to have their fans in attendance.

They (and sadly I include Everton in this) also basically told every team in the lower levels of the football pyramid to go and fornicate with themselves - "we'll be alright, stuff you lot" - it's very sad to see.

They should have scrapped the charade when they had the chance - I feel it is doing more harm than good to the game.

This is why I didn't want it to start again and I thought the authorities would have more sense to see this too.

It won't just be this lot either. The championship winners/play off teams, the teams that survive a relegation scrap. Up and down the country large gatherings in the middle of a bloody pandemic. Beggars belief.

Yeah, but "this means more", apparently.

I have no idea how they predict these things but if one person, just one, dies because of the expected and unsurprising scenes last night then I hope those who decided it was all worth hang their heads in shame and can be held accountable.

My Wife hasnt left the house in 4 months due to shielding. I can see these actics making that last a lot longer now.

Devasting impact on peoples lives, all for a 2 bob trophy. Non of it essential

They should have just given them their * pot.

I see the media are dressing up the scenes at the pit as understandable and a release of emotion but completely condemn the acts of those attending the beach.

People release emotions in different ways, it's just more people care about going out with family then a game of footy. Both in my opinion stupid acts of negligence from the LFC customers and general public attending beaches in their 10s of thousands.

We are walking head into another steep rise of this virus, pubs opening next weekend, still spatterings or protesting too. Chaos and utter carnage on the cards.

Agreed about the media.

Don't know why I was surprised, but I thought the sky sports news coverage of the mutants congregation's at our old ground and in town were absolutely disgraceful - the presenter was actually joking and smiling about them "not quite following" social distancing rules?!?

Those "fans" congregating should have been vilified and chastised by every responsible media outlet for their irresppnsible actions, and they should also have quoted big Joe's release saying this would happen - trouble is, there aren't many responsible media outlets left - even the beeb were at it last night FFS.

I don't include the Oldham echo as genuine media, as that is just a murder Inc fanzine.

Enjoy the * lurkers, hope the restart was worth it.

Staying away from "media" today, like you say, is anyone in the media anymore actually good at their job? Seems nobody can write a good article anymore and actually say the truth.

The Merseyside police did nothing again i imagine?

10 or so arrests around our old ground, should have been more and the police should have dispersed the bellwhiffs.

They should be fecked off from the pier head today as well, but no doubt they won't be, absolute dangers trying to make us the English version of bloody Florida!

Merseyside Bizzies tend to have a "we saw nothing" attitude when it comes to the dementors

I doubt there was many people there tbh, seeing as most of their customers are foreign anyway.
