Proposed changes to the Premier league

Founding members has nothing to do with it unfortunately, it should like but it was the nine longest members of the premier League since 1992, so the 'big' six, us, West ham and Southampton

I don't mean founding members of the prem but founding members of the actual game
No mate we are the 6th club.

Man city being 7th , Lfc 4th btw.

I just hope our club have nowt to do with this .

I'll be honest, I haven't read too much of this but, would it be safe to say this is one way of killing off losing these clubs to the mythical Super League? Or, at least, a by product of it.

No idea. But the important point that you may not have seen is that the Sky 6 will be able to make the rules, and decide who can own a club.

That being said, the red rats know they need the support from teams like us, Saints, Leicester, West Ham to get it through so when it suits them they try and entice us into the ‘cool table’ with that long-standing status crap. I would be disgusted if we agreed to this and pray we don’t.

Sadly the tin pot clubs like WHU & Southampton will likely join up thinking it gives them some power.

I doubt we will.

You’d hope not.

Both of those clubs are likely to be sold in the not too distant future, the idea that Liverpool get to decide who they can sell their club to is disgusting!

Their owners will be happy with as much power as possible as both are in constant relegation battles.

This could be the biggest balls up of all time by the rs and mancs. They've pissed off every other club in the league and the premiere league organisation itself in one go.

Rick parry has also publicly nailed his colours to the mast, which would suggest he's been in discussion with the 2 clubs prior to this coming out. Has he made his position untenable?

Not yet he hasnt.

He will spin it that he has got a bail out and future funds for the EFL, and that he has no influence, (ok mate) on how the PL decide to sell the idea to their clubs.

But I’d argue that this secondary group of power, the one that we would be in, actuality holds very little power at all, and it certainly won’t have the power to prevent a relegation.

It’s not a good deal for anyone but the arbitrary ‘big six’, and any club outside of that group that would be stupid enough to vote in favour of this RS fantasy would deserve everything they get.
