Proposed changes to the Premier league

Should be giving that money over anyway.

This kind of underhand manoeuvre really sickens me. Football is on its arse at the moment anyway IMO... this kind of thing would just further turn me away from it (if it goes through).

see how the footballing community reacted to the £15 a game ppv. Magnify that by 1000 fold, that’s what this would do.

It's the death of football if this goes through.

The more I read the posts the sadder I felt ,how could any Evertonian consider this ? We have been on the our rear ends for years and now it is looking up .There is no way I could sanction this knowing what it is to be treated like Kack by the big six .How could they throw out Villa for example who now are starting to show signs of a rebirth.
As said before the days when almost any team could win are the best memories for me .
I have never condemned Chelsea or City for their recent success as we had a rich owner in Sir John Moores but to deny most of the teams any chance makes me want to vomit .
We must remember that they call it a competition ,I was delighted when Leicester won the league and will be if Villa win it after us ,or Leeds .
The best thing from the posts on here is that the two teams proposing it should be the ones to leave -and that is up to the vote ! It only needs 14 teams does it not .

Nows the time to stand up to them , they are not happy with the rules the way they are , that's fine leave and never be seen again .
You know what, I’d honestly love them to just eff off. The six of them. Snidey horrible clubs now. Just go and form a European super league with the other snides and just let everyone else get on with it. That’s what they want. Just go and do it.

I used to worry about being left behind. But I’m not bothered now. Just leave. Close the door on your way out.

I'd love it if the powers that be, with the backing of all the other clubs, instead issued a counter proposal, and keeping the sole idea of reducing the League to 18 teams, banished Liverpool and United from the League, revoking their memberships. This would have massive fanincial benefits for other teams too, as well as a redistribution of their collective earnings. Upon agreement, each remaining team in the Premier league would pay £25m into a fund to be redistributed throughout the football league

As an American I apologize for the actions of my scumbag countrymen. Sadly our society has decided to once again embrace greed and grift over humanity, which is evident by my nation electing a career con man to the president four year ago.

I would like nothing more than the Henrys (LFC) and Glazers (MUFC) and many more of their ilk to be lined up against a wall and executed.

Sneaky this, they make it sound appealing to the FA and EFL clubs by offering millions in payments at a time when those clubs are on their arses but once they get control, that's when the real shithousery will begin, this along with the PPV is the beginning of the end for football as we've known it for generations, we'll soon just be franchise clubs like the MLS, money absolutely ruined the game

Yes as founder members, the other two clubs would be Newcastle and West Ham at 26 and 25 years respectively

Founding members has nothing to do with it unfortunately, it should like but it was the nine longest members of the premier League since 1992, so the 'big' six, us, West ham and Southampton

I don't mean founding members of the prem but founding members of the actual game
