Protests against the board

I'm not for one second condoning racism, and anyone abusing DCL or Onana are absolute scum
Unfortunately tho, I think the club might be weaponizing these incidents.
There seems to be an eagerness on the clubs part to highlight inappropriate behaviour.
I know I'm on dodgy ground and the club have to act against vile racism.
But I cant help shake the feeling that it's being used as a distraction or, even worse, as part of a broader campaign to discredit the general fan base.
It has a feeling of 'look what we have to contend with, thats why we don't go'.
I have to agree.

Also not condoning racism, but it's strange at the very moment everything is going pear-shaped, all these incidents are happening showing the "supporters" in a poor light and used as distractions to what is happening in the transfer market and on the pitch.

Is it just coincidental or is this a concerted effort by certain people to take the Social Media eye off what they really should be reporting on...

A protest that is not supported by the vast majority is not practical. A boycott would be very effective, but its not going to get widespread support, so its not a realistic option. It would just create division between supporters and we dont want or need that.
Then we have to find a different approach before it's too late, because at the rate we are going something drastic will have to happen for this Titantic to change direction.

Any protests have to focus solely on our incompetent absentee owner and chairman.

Any fans abusing players at games or on social media gifts that hideous pair cheap PR opportunities to distract attention from them onto the fans.

There is also no sense protesting against the interim Board who are just trying to keep the wheels on the wagon.

Sadly, matchday protests dont attract a high enough proportion of fans.

15/20k surrounding the stadium singing would get national media attention, but understandably apathy rules amongst the majority.

4 coach loads down to Little Venice disturbing Kenwrights neighbours with their ghastly chanting would bring things sharply into focus for our esteemed chairman.

I'm guessing 200 people from the protest groups is easier to summon than 10/20k who prefer their pre match pints than doing something worthwhile for half an hour.

Needs some imaginative thinking imo. The pre-game protests have run their course and ideally some new ways to display our views are needed.
Wish I was more creative, then I could suggest some other ways!
A giant wicker man effigy of bill set alight at the park end gates. Too pagan?

They are so thick skinned I don't think it bothers them. On the other hand if thelwell is given transfer money but doesn't do his job maybe he should be the target ?

I also feel Moshiri must be urged to sell the club on to a more a responsible owner he has proved to be incompetent keeping on a Chairman that in my view is disruptive to the fanbase and the club itself. He blatantly has one interest now which is the stadium, which is detrimental to the team and staying in the top flight. There must be a cleansweep the owner/ Chairman must go, we need a blank canvas, things will not change until they are gone.

Turn our backs on the pitch and be absolutely silent for 5 - 10 minutes
It's not hurting anyone, it's not being abusive, so the press can't beat us with that stick.
It would definitely be something that would be reported on, probably worldwide.
There is definitely an agenda going on at the minute, the press are loving it and we have enough knuckle draggers and club issues to keep them amused day after day.

Yes,agree mate, although moshiri has put his own money into the club(unlike the parasite kenwright),he needs to go,to keep Billy liar on the payroll is the very definition of incompetence.

I'm sure they will go to the matches next season in the Championship as well.

The time for action is now, not when we are in December, 20th and 5/10 with the bookmakers to go down.
And so they should, If you only want to support a club when it’s in the premier, go elsewhere.
No one wants to support a club if they go down, but they should be prepared to.
Unfortunately, this will get us nowhere...it has not worked in the past, it won't work now and it won't work in the future.

Boycott the games; it's the only way people will sit up and take notice, but nobody is interested.

For some fans it’s a family day out of bonding with kids and friends, why should they sacrifice that when they’ve shelled out for season tickets, they may enjoy the dramas of supporting a football club.

Racism happens pretty much every single game, probably through good and bad times, if people feel a certain way about certain players it will always come out. I haven’t read anything about what’s happened this weekend but I’m pretty sure Onana, DCL etc get the same tweets on a weekly basis.

Erm, how do we turn our backs on the pitch without turning our backs on the team? That will do the team a power of good wouldn't it? Any other brilliant ideas?

10 minutes out of 90 is nothing, you can still get behind them for 80 mins or would you rather just bury your head in the sand and pretend everything’s hunky dory?
