Another personal favourite of mine is The Eddie off the High st in Wavertree...Good Guinness, considering they only have Extra Cold.

2-11...am day drinker and i remember turning up mid week for a pint at 12 o'clock only for me find out it didn't open till 2...took the wind out my sails.

Are there any bikers' pubs in Liverpool ? I remember a long while back there was a pretty neat one somewhere near Chinatown. Long forgotten its name, and probably now selling banana and guava juice IPA's.

I’ve no idea how I remembered this, but the other pub in China Town was called the Warwick Castle.

It was in Kent St.

@Bedwas Toffee The same fella runs both Kelly's on Smithdown and the Dispensery hence why he's got Murphy's on in both,Good lad Connor helps that he's Irish like....shame he's a dirty stinking Kopite.

5 minutes in a taxi from town.

Yeah it looks it. I’d say the Murphy’s in the Dispensary was up there with one of the best pints of stout I’d had in the uk. Genuinely. Kelly’s must be immense. Gotta make a trip down there next time up . Are there any other good spots close by I could visit while I’m in that area?

Forgertys further down towards Penny Lane...Irish social club that does a regular Guinness for 3.80! I actually think it's the best Guinness in the city...this was from yesterday,am not an alcoholic just a beer enthusiast haha.
