Once Bramley Moore is open I was thinking during the season once a month doing a Real ale / Craft beer walk through town before a game...might organise it on here see if I can get the numbers.

Also in the old bank Saturday.I was in both of them on Saturday ha!
I live facing the park on Garston old Rd....so Sols is 5mins from my door, good people who have opened that.
Also the Old bank has solid taps plus good Traditional German bottle beer in the fridge,Big Evertonian pub as well.
Solid boozer...Good ale,Good punters and always a good atmosphere. Also in the old bank Saturday.
It sure is, but I avoid talking footy with the rs.Solid boozer...Good ale,Good punters and always a good atmosphere.
Yeah there is a group of Rs in there....Still a blue pub though. It sure is, but I avoid talking footy with the rs.
It’s only open in the week I believe so I haven’t ticked that off yet. interesting side note , there is also an Augustus John in Tenby too as that’s where he was born. The hardest thing I’ve found, is finding a pub that sells regular Guiness and not the chilled muck, that’s had all the life frozen out of it.
Ps - if you want a pub that has an award winning range of ciders, the university pub, the Augustus John can’t be beaten.
Opening hours can be varied though.
Oh wow that Murphy’s is an absolute beautyBest regular Guinness pubs as follows
Shanangans
Dispensary (Hardman)
Kelly's (Smithdown)
Forgertys (Off Penny Lane)
Take it from someone who drinks a lot of stout.
May I just add that the Murphy's in Kelly's on Smithdown is the best in pint of stout in city.View attachment 256830

Sounds like heaven that mate. further out than I’ve ventured yet but I love a challenge. What is the best way to get there from town?I’m going to nominate the Volly (The volunteer canteen) in Waterloo. Now I know some of you southenders may get a nose bleed if you venture this far north but I suggest you put on your big coat and make the trip.
It’s a great little boozer dating back to the 1870’s. Previously it was a Higsons’ pub but now it’s owned by the Liverpool Brewing Company.
Good selection of black lodge, LBC and salopian beers.

Well time is ticking on the last Goodison match under the lights. Would be ideal for thatIt is only open during the week, but it’s a great pub for a few pints, sitting outside, on a lazy summer afternoon or evening.
The ale / cider is always good and a good starting point for a pub crawl around the Georgian Quarter.
The Font, just over the road, sells decent beer fir lot a chain pub and is also equally as relaxed.

The Cambridge (or locally known as the Cambo) isn’t a bad pub either. It’s a Marstons, so the selection isn’t stellar, but it’s still decent. It is only open during the week, but it’s a great pub for a few pints, sitting outside, on a lazy summer afternoon or evening.
