Pubs in Liverpool

Back in the day, it was a lovely characterful boozer. Serving the Playhouse theater crowd in the evenings.

Run by 2 wonderful sisters, fantastic mild and bitter on hand pulled draught.

It has now been gutted out in white plastic, and plastered with photos of 'celebs'.

As previously posted, it was disgusting, and I would not trust the ale there.

SWERVE big-time.
What a shame. I’ve always thought Williamson has always been underused and work well as European style square. It could be quite atmospheric there.

Used to watch the match in a pub on Lark Lane can't remember the name of it I used to walk round from Alexander Drive and it was before Marantos on the left Google Maps doesn't cover it. Remember a lot of Blues got in there so the atmosphere was good. The Albert always felt like a Kopite gaff.

The Parkfield Inn, if you're coming up from the bottom of the lane? Opposite, you have the (Masonic) Lodge.

Right lads listen.... whilst I realise some of you may have been on the end of Crazy Daves madcaps way, take it as a badge of honour.

Also without him being a complete barmpot we would have so many stories,we need more Guvnor like Dave in my opinion 🤣

There’s one alive and well at the Albion just off the Chester City Walls.

He actually locks the pub front doors of the pub on race days to keep the riff raft out and you have to go in through the back yard door.

It must cost him grands - my gaff, my rules.

From Lark Way I'd turn left and it was on the same side as Morantos. From what I've seen lots of places have closed and opened up as something else. I remember the last game I watched was the home match against Villa, one down with a couple of minutes to go so I left thinking that was it,I passed a mate at the corner of Alexander Drive who told me we'd equalised,by the time I got home we'd lost 1-2.🙄

Either the Parkfield Inn, or perhaps Rhubarb, if it's in the past ten to twenty years. I found this photo on Google Maps from 2008.
