Been out of form for club but comes in here and he's run the show. ?‍♂️

Pogba and Kante's absence forced Dechamps to play him further back and it's just clicked.

If it's Argentina, I dont see France beating them though.

The Argentines are way too savvy to do what England allowed the French to do.
I'm not sure, the Argies rely on Messi a lot but it could go either way.

I thought France were there for the taking last night but England didn't have enough spark to create more chances. Problem being Southgate didn't have enough faith in his defence to go more attacking earlier on.

Still though, a decent World Cup given their form going into it. Sacking Southgate would be harsh but I think 3 international tournaments is a big stint and it wouldn't hurt to have fresh ideas for what is by international standards a strong group of players.

England have got a pretty strong squad, definitely one with lots of potential. I do wonder what a top manager with real X factor could do with them, because that isn't Southgate.

Imagine Don Carlo for example.

Apart from these 1.12 billion people, you utter virgin.

That doesn't read like 1.12 billion people

Definitely on the wrong side here, but... That stat is based on unique viewers watching 1 minute of coverage throughout the whole tournament. The number of digital viewers is also an estimate.

I doubt the FA would consider it as they're a pretty risk averse organisation. Keeping Southgate isn't a terrible thing (he's done very well) but as you said there's a lot of potential there which an elite level manager could take to the next level.
