I'd like to think they'd offer them a game. They wont though. France will be too savvy. They wont let a situation like the Tunisia game to develop.
Morocco have already shown that they can close down teams equally as good as France. And do it quite efficiently...

By the way: Bellingham. All the hype over him came crashing to the ground last night.

An absolute duffer of a performance. Spent more time crying about fouls he didn't get than playing football.

Totally eclipsed by Griezmann.

Another fallacy to add to the list.
Yeah but he throws his arms in the air, eggs on the crowd and seems like he cares.
All the qualities needed to play at the very top level.
Should have concentrated on his game I think the hype and expectations played on him a bit last two games, he played up to it instead of playing football.

Absolutely spot on.

That's not true. His job was as an extra man on Mbappe and to overlap with Saka to keep Walker at home. Played that role pretty well, I thought.
It is true. Henderson was useless. Offered absolutely nothing. Captain of the RS, don'tcha know - a shoe-in for a place. 'Defensive Southgate' got it wrong last night. WE should have been scaring the crap out of the French, not the other way around...

I honestly think it's time for Southgate to step down now, he's had chance after chance and blown it.

Part of the problem is not his though, England are rated ludicrously high by FIFA and as such the seeding's by their nature all but ensure a place in the last 8 of every major tournament, look at the games before last night....USA, Wales,Iran,Senegal, hardly a massive task to qualify and reach the quarters.

The Euros panned out even better for him when top class opposition was avoided until the semis.

He continually fails at the first tough hurdle he faces and despite the hype and bluster from him his record when looked at carefully is dire.

France were there to be beaten last night and we had unused firepower on the bench to make it happen.

Bugger off Southgate, give someone else a chance.

England passing up the opportunity of Morocco in a World Cup semi. That’s gotta sting this morning guys.

It crossed my mind this morning, if only because I would have enjoyed the media escalation from Morocco "tricky side, can't underestimate them, got to respect them, Ziyech is decent" to "what even is a Morocco, lolz, pretty sure they were rubbish in the war, we'll do these date farmers by at least six, Ziyech is a pub player".

You've got a player on their left with terrifying pace and ball control. The measure of the job he did was that Mbappe was hardly a factor last night and Saka did, indeed, terrify Hernandez.

Its ok to admit that a player you don't like from a team you don't like had a good game. I can't stand the sanctimonious knob, but he put in a proper shift last night.
