It was btw, they were out of the relegation zone with a game in hand. He just couldn't match Sunderland's "amazing" 12 points.

We have, not from the EPL, but the history of Football did not start in 1992.

Why should we apologise for wanting them to lose?
I grew up in Walton walking distance from the ground my mates were both red and blue they wanted us to lose just as much as we did them that's in the DNA of a football fan it's not bitterness it's healthy rivalry.

Why oh why do people pick up on crappy detail
The original point was that the poster implied Benitez would get us relegated
And I suggest nothing could be farther from the truth
if you all want to run around your history books snd “be right” then go ahead be right
But please string a logical argument together for me that supports the bleach drinking sky falling claims that Benitez will get us relegated and that that is what the board might even want
Because that was the nonsense in the original post
