But isn't this the exact same stick you were using to beat Ancelotti? Its being realistic - who in our midfield could play open attacking football?

You're living in a dream world. If the players are showing commitment and we dont go on any bad slide like under Silva/Koeman the fans will let the first season slide. We had a few seasons under Moyes of midtable finishes but largely outside of the odd grumble providing the performances had fight in them he was never chased out.
Even though moshiri said he sacked managers because of crowd pressure ?
But isn't this the exact same stick you were using to beat Ancelotti?
In an interview on the 1st July moshiri said he reacted to fan pressure to sack Martinez and to not appoint moyes . So has he changed since then ? Just because you say it or believe it doesn’t make it soMoshiri will do what Usmanov tells him to.
Since Usmanov sold his stake in Arsenal there has been a clear increase in involvement from Usmanov from appointing Ancelotti/Benitez to his nephew joining the club/board of directors and buying the naming rights for BMD.
If you actually look at Moshiri's quotes the reason he appointed Ancelotti was because he was experienced enough to handle the fan pressure that the likes of Silva couldn't. Moshiri himself barely goes GP these days he wont be arsed what fans think of the manager providing we are stable going into BMD.
It’s fantasy to imagine the opposite, can you seriously picture the ground if we were 10/11th . It’d be no place for the faint hearted , saying that the boozers would be chocca by 45 minutes .You're living in a dream world.
10th and he doesn't stand a chance.

I wouldn't have wanted Moyes back either, he's the epitome of a mid-table manager (or worse at Sunderland). All that knife to a gunfight stuff held us back for years. Yes, it's been crap since, but at least the idea was to progress. By the end of Moyes' reign we were being told, openly, that 7th was the best we could ever hope for. He has a loser mentality.Ive only seen 2 managers at us that ive been very happy with Kendall and Moyes. Id have Moyes back in a heartbeat with or without money before this clown at the reins now.
You have decided what you’ve decided and even the bloke who made the decisions telling you won’t shake your opinion .Usmanov had little involvement back then lets be honest.
Anyone who thinks the owners give a toss what the fans think after they appointed Benitez despite those banners/online abuse is living in cuckoo land lol
It would take riots at the ground for them to get rid which the fans wouldn't be rioting for finishing 10th. You underestimate just how many happy clappers we have - some wanted to keep Silva in a job when we were in the bottom 3.
If you can't see that Benitez has more baggage, and therefore less slack with the fans, than a young up and coming manager from the Championship then I can't help you.If the players are showing commitment and we dont go on any bad slide like under Silva/Koeman the fans will let the first season slide. We had a few seasons under Moyes of midtable finishes but largely outside of the odd grumble providing the performances had fight in them he was never chased out.
He simply will not be moved from his position whatsoever, doesn’t matter what’s said or what’s pointed out . The lad has painted himself into a corner and just isn’t for moving an inch .If you can't see that Benitez has more baggage, and therefore less slack with the fans, than a young up and coming manager from the Championship then I can't help you.
You said the fans would be fine with 10th under Benitez, why would there be any crying? It's almost like you change your argument as soon as it is exposed as bunkum.I would be concerned if Kenwright was running the show but ultimately Usmanov is in the hotseat and has his nephew as his voice in the boardroom.
The Goodison crowd can cry all they want Benitez is here until Usmanov no longer wants him & Benitez is thick skinned enough to not care about grumbles from the terraces.

We all know that bottom half finishes are fine with you. Some of us have higher ambitions. You constantly berated Ancelotti and he finished 10th with this squad but, according to you, finishing lower than that represents an achievement for Benitez. You make no sense.Benitez doesn't care if you boo
Usmanov doesn't care if you boo
Thats the reality mate - only way he gets sacked by fan revolt is via a half empty Goodison which isn't happening as fans will largely always turn up or riots which maybe would happen if we were bottom 3 or so but at that stage the owners would boot him regardless.
You'll never see Everton fans rioting for finishing 10th with a squad of players many cant stand/admit are bang average regardless of who the manager is.
More grumbles? 100% but Usmanov wont be bothered by boos whilst on his Yacht having his monthly harem.
