We only accrued anywhere near 60 points because the league was a complete and utter mess due to covid, no fans, games being rearranged left right and centre and played at mad times, half of every team’s squads dropping like flies due to injuries and isolation. It wasn’t a real season, it wasn’t real football. This team is not good enough to get anywhere near Europe.

No we missed about becuase we had a useless manager who wasnt interested, thankfully now though we have a professional who will take pride in his job.

Constantly had fixtures rescheduled

Had the advantage of fans in the stadium that 16 other clubs didnt have for a few games.

Unless Benitez is given the same financial backing as Ancellotti he cannot be held to the same expectations in the short term.

All the other stuff about injuries etc is somewhat valid but having a pop at his creativity is a bit odd.
