We only missed out on 60pts last season due to a lack of depth because of long term injuries in midfield. If any two of GBlammo, Alien, Doucoure or Hammy Rodz had been fully fit all season we'd have been in Europe.

We only accrued anywhere near 60 points because the league was a complete and utter mess due to covid, no fans, games being rearranged left right and centre and played at mad times, half of every team’s squads dropping like flies due to injuries and isolation. It wasn’t a real season, it wasn’t real football. This team is not good enough to get anywhere near Europe.

This season? Hard to say, cups are obviously more important but the hand he has been dealt is a stinker.

he's here for a minimum of 2 years barring any disaster season akin to Koeman/Silva's 2nd seasons.

Going to be a long time for some I don't envy them tbh halfway through Martinez's 2nd season I had pretty much had enough but still had another 18 months of his management to endure.

9th would be fantastic. 10th-12th be good. Inheriting midtable team and hasnt much to spend thus far. Plus James might be off. Top ten would be a great first season.
