Since he's signed he's had some quality performances. But he's had loads where he's looked completely off the pace, slow in possession, easily turned.

Gotta be honest, I'm surprised he was rated as high as he was before he signed.

A manager like Potter would need time and patience to change things - a luxury he wouldn’t get at Everton. The expectations and pressure are much higher so unless he had a good start he’d be in trouble if he he didn’t perform well quickly.
