There are literally 1000s of mangers out there. And just because a fan doesn't name a shortlist, doesn't make their points any less valid. We also have a DOF who is paid mega money and that's his job, to find the right person, which this clearly isn't.

It's not the fans fault this is going pear shaped. That was obvious from the start.
If reports are to be believed Brands was against appointing Benitez and wanted to get Moyes.

Bottling up all the hatred and pent up frustration does nothing good for the soul.

We're a mid table club and that wont be changing anytime soon.

Accept it and let it go.
I think even you have reached a point where you know your blind defence of Benitez is misguided. I see a subtle change in your posts, we’re seeing far more ‘I didn’t want him either, but’ comments and far fewer ‘ the rafatollah is the greatest’ posts from you.

Thing is, he has been posting about Benitez and the job he could do here since Silva when he was screaming for Silva to be sacked for a run of 1 win in 8. So he did want him.

The China thing is deffo an issue for me.

It is ‘the last pay check’ in my opinion and that won’t ever change.

Now, that’s not a criticism btw, as I’d fill me boots myself. But once you go there, you are done.
Didn’t Howard go for his last pay check to Xanthi or something in Greece before coming back to Everton for a third time, was that an issue to and was he done to.

Where has this guy gone? Why are you now happy to just make up the numbers and not be relegated?

That was the old naive FB92. The one who would let EFC dictate his mood, ruin his weekend.

When you reach nirvana and realise the 11 millionaires on the pitch care little about you and the billionaire owners can replace you in an instant with another supporter at the ground you'll come to accept it for what it ultimately is.

I marched with the Blue Union only because Kenwright was genuinely destroying the club - debt ridden, penniless, trying to be moved to DK which would have finished us as a club.

Moshiri for his faults at least will keep putting the dough in & is taking us to a world class stadium.

For me its a case of waiting for him to wake up/stumble onto a winning formula. Im certainly not going to be chasing him or the manager who's been here 5 seconds out the door - no quick fix for the situation we find ourselves in.

No matter how many times people do it Comparing this club’s greatest ever manager to the current incumbent just feels disrespectful and a little bit dirty .
Maybe so, but you have to be fair in that if a person wants to apply a certain reasoning to beat a man then that same reason then needs to be applied across the board for everyone otherwise the opinion maybe seen as flawed.

Why? Does it make a difference, its not my decision. If it was then he wouldnt be here in the first place and ur cohort @ForeverBlue92 reckons all fans are irrelevant anyway

If fans can’t name a single person who would be able to take us over now under those conditions I referenced then why do you think the board would do any better? How many premier league clubs ever hire anyone no one has heard of? I think Wolves this season was genuinely the first time a manager was hired and I had no clue who he was. Most managers we’ve all heard of and whenever Everton are looking for a manager a shortlist is normally drawn up pretty quickly by fans that tend to be pretty accurate.

If fans therefore can’t even name one single potential replacement then it shows it’s a very narrow market at the moment and the risk premium on getting someone (e.g they may have only managed in the championship, they may not speak English, they may not have experienced a turnaround job like the one required here) may be too much for the board to accept removing Benitez for.

No one has any positive reason to keep him. Only that they don't want another change, because they are worried about some sort of perception issue.

When you have the wrong person then change immediately, like Spurs have done, like Chelsea have done numerous times. We say we want to be a big club and successful but our actions suggest a small club with zero interest in success or even improving. Changing manager is normal, it's not an issue. The days of dynasties like Fergie are over. Replacing underperforming, or unsuitable managers makes success more likely, not less likely.

When this goes even more badly wrong in the run up to Christmas then people will look very silly.

Kendall managed in Greece in the top flight , a country that won the euros within the decade . Is it of an equivalent to the premier league ? Absolutely not , was Kendall coming to the end of his Career ? Yes he was retired within 5/6 years . However it still in Europe and it’s certainly not China however I’ll apply the same rules , Kendall was coming to the end of his career and so is this fella .

The difference is Howard loved us , was our greatest ever manager and was worshipped by at least some of the fanbase , certainly me , whereas much if not all of us will never ever sing this blokes name .

I am sure we could all name a few names, whether they come or the board show enough ambition is a totally different matter. Ultimately it's irrelevant as only Moshiri is the guy that counts.
Not taking a guess on who the new man should be should never distract from the fact that Benitez was clearly the wrong choice and has done nothing to suggest people were wrong about not wanting him

Frank
Arteta
Potter
Nuno (would actually suit our limited squad)
Lampard
Mancini (no.1 choice)
Streich
Favre

And a ton of others if I thought about it longer

But its not my job to pick a manager. I'm just stating a simple undeniable fact that Benitez will never be a success here with all the division this has caused and the shambolic way we are set up defensively.

If this is stability then some need to invest in dictionaries!!
