Rafael Benitez donates Rhyl caravan to bereaved children

Football manager Rafael Benitez and his wife Montse hope a holiday home can help change the lives of bereaved and deprived children.
The couple are patrons of the Liverpool-based OLLY (Our Lost Love Years) Foundation and have presented the charity with a static caravan to use for holidays.
The Everton boss said the caravan, on the Lyons Robin Hood Park in Rhyl, would create "good memories" for the children who in many cases live in poverty and have never been on holiday.
Montse, who runs the Montse Benitez Foundation, said: "Something like this can change the life of people - it gives hope that there is a better life out there and that people care."

The whole set up needs dismantling. Not just Benitez but Brands, Kenwright, Unsworth..

We need a coherent set up throughout the entire playing structure. An academy that plays like the first team and a first team that plays possession based football.

To go from Martinez to Allardyce just shows the lack of identity that the club has. We need a top class sporting director to choose the coach AND have final say on all transfers. None of this letting the coach bring his favourites in (it’s only ever worked with Richi).

Then we need the best training ground coaches the club can find, not just dish the jobs out to any ex player.

And then we need to imbed a style of football and stick with it. Only ever bringing in players or coaches that fit with that style.

This all day long.

The thing is some fans wanting Benitez out, then a new man comes in and wants to have a look at the players we have, this is why Keane Coleman Davies Delph Gomes Holgate JJ Kenny Tosun etc have lasted so long at the club.

We need stability and Benitez needs a good couple of transfer windows to get his players in

At least we had Baines and Jageilka in the dressing room then, who could override Brown Shoes clownish tactics and talk some sense to the rest of the team.

I think most people thought we would be mid table at best this year following the summer and the state of the squad, so not sure why people think Benitez would be under any pressure? (Apart from the Kopite stuff obviously) tough couple of months up coming including a derby defeat and he will still be there at the end of it.
And quite frankly it would be absolutely scandalous if they do look to change manager (again), settle in boys, he is hear for the long haul and it is going to be a bumpy ride this season.

A large portion of the fan base despises him. We've had doubts over other managers but the only one I remember being this unpopular before a ball was kicked was Allardyce.

The issue is our incompetent board also think the 'who else was there though' line.
