What future we currently have is to continue as a perpetual mid table club until at some point in the future a bad run of form takes us down ,which ultimately is the fate of all clubs who aim solely for survival.
But the die is cast now at any rate.
Just wish we could have some genuinely entertaining football for the journey.

Promotion isn’t a success if you had to get relegated to be in that division to be fair.

Well his win percentage is obviously gonna be higher by default seeing as he only managed us for 18 months, you’re essentially using the “Sam Allardyce is England’s greatest ever manager with a 100% win record” argument except you’re being serious rather than memeing. Are you arguing that Ancelotti, finishing 10th and 12th, was a better Everton manager than David Moyes because his win percentage was higher?

I would say it is for a smal club like for example Barnsley when they made it to the Premier League, but i just mean something to celebrate, weve had nothing at all

Agreed. Fingers crossed we get relegated this year so we can attempt to go to Wembley and win the championship next year. Then he will be really successful.

Yeah but Villa have won the league cup and Newcastle have won the second tier, i agree though id rather we never have to do that. Point was we're we are right now, basically doing nothing isnt something new, we have been here for years

Look. The man has won stuff, he is a micro-managing coach like Moyes and he improves many players. He may have managed RS but who cares. We can't buy our way to the top so we need someone as focused. Give the bloke a chance.

He should never have been appointed, but, he was, Moshiri will stick with him now until either, we balance the books, or, we get into the bottom 5 or so. I wish we’d never hired him, but, I think we would struggle to afford the price of sacking him now unless relegation became a real possibility.
