He's not going anywhere, so get over it.

He has the full backing of the board. Everyone knows what the situation is like for the club at the moment, apart from a select few fans in here who wanted him gone before he even signed the contract.

If he doesn't improve the form in the next month he will be sacked because no manager in the PL survives a run of 1 win in 12 or 13 games. That gets you sacked at much lesser sides than Everton.

And the idea it was only a few who didn't want him is the most ridiculous post of the day.

The board also do not have the back of the fans. I'd say about 5% of our fans back the board and at that I'm being generous.

I’m backing Benitez, doesn’t mean I’m not worried about the current situation. We just need our core team back, Mina, Doucoure, Gray & DCL all in the same team, even Gomes to an extent. I actually feel we have missed Sigurdsson this season too.

The next few games will be grim, but hopefully we snatch something against Brentford. Dreading the Derby.

I’m optimistic about January, we have to make some signings even on loan.

Say the board sack him, pay millions in compensation. Then what. Who do we realistically get halfway through the season, no money to spend, an injury crisis and mid-table... Nuno at best, most likely Steve Bruce or Sam Allardyce. What's the point.

Whats the point of sticking with a manager who can't win , coaches to team to stand 5 yards off the ball, made us massively vulnerable to set pieces, makes crap substitutions , is divisive ( to say the least), has us playing garbage-ball

oh, and is 1 win in 9!

what is the point of sticking with that

If he only takes, I dunno, 3 points or whatever between now and Newcastle on the 30th then he's dead in the water. I think he'll probably survive until Christmas but he absolutely has to be picking up points against Brentford, Palace, Burnley and Newcastle, at least 7.

A lot depends on just how adrift the bottom three are, but if we're on 20 points after 20 played then he can't survive that IMO.

If he can survive, if you look at the fixture list for January/February then there's a chance to box off survival over those months, but he needs better luck with injuries and it's absolutely imperative that we bring 1-2 in early January.

Unfortunately, Brands doesn't work January, the useless mammary gland.
Palace and Brentford look much more of a team that we do Though. Both will be tough. Guarantee Newcastles first win is against us, it’s already been written.

We lost 3-0 against one of the best 2 sides in the league with nearly all our best players missing. Last season we lost 5-0 against them. Call it garbage ball all you like. Rafael got a better result than King Carlo.

Viera instilled a clear identity to Palace inside 12 games with a squad that needed completely rebuilt

Why should we not expect more from a manager who people claim is "elite"?

Why can he not make the team more solid and competitive if he's so good at his job?

Viera also spent 66 million in the summer, but let's ignore that crucial fact.

I dont even like Ancelotti mate

5-0 or 3-0 makes no difference they were both pathetic losses

What about Watford, or Wolves , or Villa or QPR?
