We lost 3-0 against one of the best 2 sides in the league with nearly all our best players missing. Last season we lost 5-0 against them. Call it garbage ball all you like. Rafael got a better result than King Carlo.

We also lost 5-2 to Watford, lost to QPR, lost home to West Ham, lost to Wolves, and lost heavily to a Villa side who sacked their manager.

If this is good form, then I'd hate to see poor form

Ancelotti lost to Newcastle twice, Fulham and Sheff Utd who were relegated, West Ham, Burnley, Villa, Wolves, Bournemouth. 5 nil against City, 4 nil against Chelsea, 3 nil against Wolves.

Let's not let a narrative get in the way though.

He beat Liverpool (and drew twice in the other 2 league games), Chelsea, Arsenal, Leicester, Spurs (twice).

He also got 59 points. That is the benchmark for Benitez.

Yep Dave, he’s the manager and it’s his team
Yeah, I'm sure that's how new managers are judged everywhere - by having 4 months with another series of managers midden of a team and getting it spot on.

You have never ever given any Everton manager - other than that sloppy gobbed Italian fraud Ancelotti - your support.

This is just another name for you to try and undermine.

How about being constructive for once?

Never wanted Benitez and I have no idea if he’s the right man for the club long term but I just don’t see what sacking him achieves. Who do you bring in who can work with an injury ravaged team that simply isn’t fit for purpose. A Potter or Rogers would be run out of town within 6 months and anyone with any stature in the game like Carlo would find the quickest route out after a season when they realise how poorly we’re run. We have a team of bottlers who don’t care and have failed every manager they’ve played for over the last 5 years, a clueless owner, an inept board, a director of football who either isn’t allowed to do his job or doesn’t really care about doing his job as long as he keeps getting a fat wage depending on who you speak too?!! We’re not allowed to spend money and the handful of decent players we do have can’t stay fit. The club is rotten to the core and the manager is the least of our problems.
