A decent quality coach should improve ANY squad of players, not have them struggling to cope with the basics after 5/6 months.Viera has made an impact after being in the job the same amount of time
I said that. He still wasn't able to explain how ogs was the better manager. Once again, making a claim with zero evidence to back it up
He's even managed to make Jinkyali look like a real ITK there he's so wide of the mark lolSo we've gone from signing Coutinho, Nunes, Koulibaly, not signing Rondon, and not being skint, to being totally skint and signing Rondon
I knew there had been some pretty awful predictions, but didn't realise they had been this bad!
Edit - sorry just noticed I missed out the selling Mina to fund Dumfries bit as well. About as good a success rate as an ITK as Benitez at defending corners
You simply don't know what his remit is.
For all we know he might have been told money is tight, we need to get rid of several players in order to rebuild, don't worry about this season as long as we stay in the division and get a respectable place.
The fact that last week Rafael was ordering reviews on all background staff suggests he's going to be here a while. In a recent interview he was talking about the next 6 months and his tactics usually take a few months to get going, but we will finish strongly
The minutes have just come out and it states that Brands said Rafael was the strongest candidate out there for the job, suggests they know they won't get anyone better.
Going to be interesting against Brentford to see if Benitez uses some of the young players.
Branthwaite, Onyango, Dobbin and possibly Simms.
Id go with:
Pickford
Godfrey Keane Branthwaite Digne
Delph
Onyango Allan
Townsend Simms Gordon
There should be enough attitude and desire in that team to compete and get something from the game.
If Benitez starts Rondon and Coleman then we may as well wave the white flag.

Absolute state of that side - literally a Championship starting 11 minus Pickford, Digne and Allan.
And people expect us to rock up to fellow PL sides away from home and get the 3 points with a click of the finger lol
bu bu bu its all Benitez's fault doh!
Blue Geordies - its what we've become.
