Funnily enough we are going to be up against a championsip side next, I mean who in their 11 apart from ajer or whatever he's called have they signed since they were on the championship?

Difference is they have a decent manager who has improved the squad tenfold

Not some dinosaur

Their manager has won 1 in 8 and is below us in the table!

Mental shout that mate.

Few are in for a surprise when Dom and doucoure come back in and we’re still shabite. Thankfully I doubt jaffaman is still in the job by the time Dom’s back though

It seems to be a particularly bad injury with Dom, so we're laying our hopes on someone who may not come back the same player.

Absolute state of that side - literally a Championship starting 11 minus Pickford, Digne and Allan.

And people expect us to rock up to fellow PL sides away from home and get the 3 points with a click of the finger lol

bu bu bu its all Benitez's fault doh!

Blue Geordies - its what we've become.

@Saint Domingo
You won't understand this but us blues would take a blue Geordie over a blue Kopite any day of the week. ?

In my opinion, we don't sign Rondon, if Calvert-Lewin doesn't get injured.

We had to sign a striker, or we were literally placing our trust in a player who's only first team experience was 2 minutes in a pre-season game.

Dobbin and Simms could be the future, they're not what we needed. Everyone knew Rondon was a stop gap. Regardless of whether he was wanted or not, nobody envisaged him being as bad as he has been.

Have you seen Dobbin and Simms play to suggest they'd have handled the pressure?

It shouldn't fall on Benitez, personally . Last season we were lucky enough to not miss Calvert-Lewin. Same way we need to replace Coleman, we didn't get an adequate backup, and we didnt get a replacement Right back.

Rondon is a joke but we left ourself in this position.
Ive seen that Rondon cant handle anything we require of him. Simms or Dobbin couldnt do worse, as Rondons done NOTHING since he came.
Also this assertion that we had to sign him is false, no matter how inexperienced our youngsters are. Theres tons of strikers out there, we didnt have to sign the one we got.

But the argument is won by me every second Rafael Benitez is Everton manager haven't you realised that yet?

He's going absolutely nowhere until the stadium is built yet you call us rationale fans "lovers" "delusional" etc.

We just accept reality - keep crying on the Internet though maybe Mosh Man will one day here your pleas lol

It's not often I do it, but it's a bold bold statement. The stuff forum legends are formed from. Will history judge FB92 as an Ubermensch cum savant amongst posters? Or will he be the new Damo?

Time will tell. Time will tell. Incredible how much Benitez holds at stake.

There's a football club involved too somewhere.

Death and Paddy are calling him.

I made the point, that Simms was out injured at the time, so the person we'd have been expecting to hold the line would have been a striker with no senior experience, excluding a 2 minute cameo in Pre-Season. He had to bring someone in.

I've asked who you'd have brought in... if not Rondon, then who? All I've had so far is Andy Carroll, so who was the available, free transfer centre forward, who's coming in? Hindsight is a wonderful thing, no one expected Rondon to be playing full games, no one expected Calvert-Lewin to miss 12 games (and counting).

Managers get things wrong sometimes, it happens.

No, but that's an entirely different argument on an entirely different topic.

The most obvious deflection technique is answering a question with a question, so I'll ask again - are you blaming Ancelotti for us signing Rondon?
Of course, we signed Rondon because we needed a backup, we had one but his terrible manageing of the team let that one slip away, and since we had zero budget we had to go for Rondon, obviously that is looking like a waste of time but you cant deny that had we kept King we wouldnt of got Rondon.

Yet your only expectation is to scrape a draw?

Mental shout that mate

Because unlike Brentford we'll have 8 players missing through injury/suspension.

Its not that difficult to understand if you haven't an agenda - I mean Brentford didnt roll over for Liverpool & Arsenal so I dont know why people expect it to be a walk in the park for a side with Rondon, Iwobi & Delph rocking up.
