1. We'll appoint a quality manager if we sack Benitez?

Or

2. We'll finish top 6-8 with this squad of players with anyone other than Benitez?

Put the cider away and face reality we're a poor squad and finishing outside the top 7 in the last 5 or years under numerous managers is proof of that.

I dont care if Benitez stays or goes but you're deluded if you think a new manager changes the last few seasons of crap because it wont you'll just stomach it more because you wont hate the manager.

He's alienating the players and the fans. You can see the players don't respect him and don't want to play for him.

FSW will get us relegated. ANYONE else will keep us out of the bottom 3. Soon as he goes the players and fans will feel relief.

I'm not calling for his head, as I agree the problems are much greater than him, but it's borderline impossible to see how he turns it round from here.

He's lost the majority of the fans, the football is terrible and he is who he is.

….anyway, some good news. My daughter and her husband presented us with our first Grandson last night.

He was brought into the world with Benitez as Manager but will still be a Blue long after Benitez has gone.

I’m still on the rum.

No offence mate, but please don’t try and ruin this evening of despair, anger and in-fighting with your happy news.

Seriously Fat Sam was better. He set up like we all new he would just like Benitez is but defensively a lot better than anything I have seen under Benitez and we was crap in attack but that’s still the same now. I would rather have the gravy drinker than the Spanish dinosaur. That’s the depressing I was all about giving Benitez a chance but we are only heading one way. I don’t think he’s the man to take us forward.

The way we defend under him is truly horrific. He is inept, pure and simple.

I don't like him and he is hopeless. What a sad state of affairs. He's not fit to manage our club.

Moshiri sacked Brands and threw his support behind Benitez, it’s going to be a long winter for those wanting him out. There was an opportunity so show the owner what fans thought and most it appears at the ground are fine.

Pretty sure he will have a strong second post Jan period, if only he doesn't loses fan base completely. The anti Rafael brigade seems to be winning with all the contant negativity around him.
You don't have many options when you have a piss poor squad , nothing to spend, injury crises and 50% of fans wanting your head since the appointment, and rest turning against you as well. The situation has turned toxic with some negative fans constant jeering, and probably has reached his ears and head.
It's probably over for him even if he turns the season around after Jan. He Would walk out in summer...with us probably finishing around 10-12.
