He’s fallen out with one player Digne. Any other player who has spoken to the media has come out in praise of him so far: Gray, Townsend, Gordon, Branthwaite, DCL, Doucoure, even Richarlison up to this point.
These players are an absolute shambles so if they had all fallen out with Benitez I doubt we would see the type of display we saw against Arsenal.
If more evidence comes to light then great, I’ll change view, but at the moment all we have is Digne sidelined and a kopite writing about how all the players hate him despite most coming out in support for him so far. We also have a sulking Richarlison going off even though he was injured.

Carlo had similar. After the derby he had Digne, Allan, James, and Richy missing for a chunk. In the run in he had the above mentioned in and out
I've said previously I gave him the benefit of doubt regards to injuries from Watford to City.

“I wasn’t able to play at my maximum capacity because of the issue with my calf and if I stayed on I would have done more damage and, probably, faced a longer period out of the team.
“I love playing football and love playing for Everton and am always sad when it isn’t possible to be on the field with my teammates.
“I understand the manager was trying to protect me. My recovery started as soon as I received the diagnosis from my scan and I will work every waking hour to be back in the blue shirt as soon as possible.

We know Benitez knows more about the players than fans do.. he sees them up close and personal first hand in training, he will know if there mentally right too.. if fans can see Iwobi or Keane or any other players are not good enough or at a certain level are people seriously suggesting Benitez does’nt know.. the answer is he wil know before any of you lot but will play them probably for two main reasons.. first reason he will try to get a tune out of them previous managers could’nt This can work with some players and the second reason his hand may be forced because of player availability and he has no choice but to play them.
I just feel it’s a very dangerous game some fans are playing calling for Benitez to be sacked.. if players win another battle against a manager and they bring in another one I really don’t know where that will leave the Club especialy when solid foundations are needed before moving to the new stadium which is a big upheaval anyway.
I know fans are disapointed and are unhappy with the situation at present but if you claim to understand football do you honestly believe from start of the season until xmas.. 1.5m spent on transfers and massive injury problems throughout the season is really enough time to judge a manager.

My gut tells me that he won’t even sack him if we lose the next 2 you know. He should be gone, because that’d be 1 win in 12, but he’s clearly being very stubborn with this one for whatever reason. I fear it’ll take us dropping into the relegation zone for him to swing the axe. Problem being, if we let him start bringing in crap like Longstaff in January that makes it even harder for the next fella.
