Was looking at some stats i had so threw them into a spreadsheet to see how they looked, our opposition have played the most passes (8539) up to the current round of midweek games and only Newcastle have a worse differential between the number of passes played and the number of opposition passes played.
Its not rocket science to say that you cannot spend as much time as we do without the ball and hope to win or even draw games, the writing is clearly on the wall here and we need to sort it asap. We have played 3049 less passes then our opposition so far this season

Out of those 5409... 5401 didn't make it to a blue shirt, well except when we play Leicester or Chelsea.

Grim mate. Really grim.

We know Benitez knows more about the players than fans do.. he sees them up close and personal first hand in training, he will know if there mentally right too.. if fans can see Iwobi or Keane or any other players are not good enough or at a certain level are people seriously suggesting Benitez does’nt know.. the answer is he wil know before any of you lot but will play them probably for two main reasons.. first reason he will try to get a tune out of them previous managers could’nt This can work with some players and the second reason his hand may be forced because of player availability and he has no choice but to play them.
I just feel it’s a very dangerous game some fans are playing calling for Benitez to be sacked.. if players win another battle against a manager and they bring in another one I really don’t know where that will leave the Club especialy when solid foundations are needed before moving to the new stadium which is a big upheaval anyway.
I know fans are disapointed and are unhappy with the situation at present but if you claim to understand football do you honestly believe from start of the season until xmas.. 1.5m spent on transfers and massive injury problems throughout the season is really enough time to judge a manager.
Yes.

We were dominated by Palace because the majority of the players we have are basically incapable of putting a shift in, ffs they can’t even pass the ball between one another. seriously there isn’t a manager on this planet going to get a tune out of this lot, they are an utter embarrassment to every Everton supporter.
Ancelotti did a lot better with them, is he a manager on a different planet?

My gut tells me that he won’t even sack him if we lose the next 2 you know. He should be gone, because that’d be 1 win in 12, but he’s clearly being very stubborn with this one for whatever reason. I fear it’ll take us dropping into the relegation zone for him to swing the axe. Problem being, if we let him start bringing in crap like Longstaff in January that makes it even harder for the next fella.
If you were him I guess you would be reluctant to sack him. Literally just given him more control than a director of football that he just handed a new contract to ever had. It would be extremely embarrassing to have to sack him, everyone knows he’s Moshiri’s man.

Like you say, the prospect of selling our better players and replacing them with the likes of Sean longstaff isn’t appealing. The next manager starts from an even worse position.

Swallow your pride and sack him now.

Can't score the goals if you don't have the ball.

Taught that as a child in training.
