I dont think we could beat either tomorrow, by a long stretch...Beating Lampards Chelsea at home is not the same as beating the Chelsea under Tuchel that won the CL

RandomAre we in Trump land?
It may well be too late if we give him that long and as for signings, I don’t think he’ll get any unless we sell. It’s probably a good thing too, he knows his job is in jeopardy, I think he would be likely to sign more journeyman older players on high wages to try and improve things in the short term. The problem with that is if it didn’t lead to a significant improvement, and I don’t think it would, then he will be sacked by the end of the season any way.set pieces have been snot to bits with the loss of Mina and Dcl. We played an unfit Richi against Palace, hardly surprising we didn't play on the front foot. We were beating Watford with ten minutes to go, just one of those things. I can see you have doubts Roy, am I right? In which case, I would suggest that we judge him once the key players are back from injury, and he's been allowed to spend some money, wheel and deal some of the duffers out of the club.
Like I say, it goes both ways.I’m not sure anyone has put any win down to Benitez’s tactics. Honestly most of these exchanges are people making up wild accusations like:
‘He’s lost all the players’
‘He’s forcing our best players out’
‘We’re getting relegated’
‘I can’t see where the next win is coming from’
When you point out that these things are either unlikely or just factually incorrect you then get accused of massively fan boying Benitez. I’m not sure I’ve read a single post that has praised his tactics or credited them for getting a win. It’s not irrational to point out the logical fallacy of crediting the fans and players for every win but blaming the manager for every loss.
Erm, I think I can actually.Come on - you can’t take zero responsibility and take pot shots from the sidelines at those in there doing it…
1. It’s not a matter of opinion - he never had a run as bad as the one we’re on now. You saying that he did was a lie.A matter of opinion I guess - he came 15th, 7th and 17th in his first 3 seasons - so presumably the 7th earnt him the patience with the 17th?
But the fact was expectations were lower when he joined as previous few years we’d been bottom half
He raised expectations by delivering decent league positions on limited resources
But these days not many managers would be afforded coming as close to relegation as that 17th
Which “facts” are people other than you denying? Do tell. You on the other hand lied in saying David Moyes had a run as bad as Benitez.Really? Seems the denial of fact and bullying is coming more from other quarters - which isn’t unusual when it comes to tribalism…
A number of posters did, myself included give credit when it was due, unfortunately that is such a rare occurrence now, the death knell has truly sounded.I’m not sure anyone has put any win down to Benitez’s tactics. Honestly most of these exchanges are people making up wild accusations like:

I gave him credit for our run at the beginning of the season. Vault me.I’m not sure anyone has put any win down to Benitez’s tactics. Honestly most of these exchanges are people making up wild accusations like:

I don't, but then again who wants to do Liverpool a favour? Not even Rafael would want to help them.I dont think we could beat either tomorrow, by a long stretch...
Is this your agenda?Really? Seems the denial of fact and bullying is coming more from other quarters - which isn’t unusual when it comes to tribalism…
You’ve clearly not been paying much attention. He got plenty of credit early in the season. Of course some of us also mentioned that we had an almost historically easy run to start the season.I’m not sure anyone has put any win down to Benitez’s tactics. @davek Seems to !!I don't, but then again who wants to do Liverpool a favour? Not even Rafael would want to help them.
It's an odd logic that you both share, you and @davekI don't, but then again who wants to do Liverpool a favour? Not even Rafael would want to help them.
