Correct.

Once he gets the ratio of his players in line with the dogs breakfast of other manager's players he's inherited things will become more easy to execute on the pitch.
There are two fairly obvious ones who played tonight who need binning, quite who is going to take them though I have no idea.

Whilst very pleased with a point, 20% possession is what you’d expect from Fleetwood Town at Stamford Bridge.

He got lucky tonight, let’s not forget the embarrassment at Palace on Sunday too quickly.

This result was just an anomaly, 6 points out of 36 tells the overall picture.

No mate.

Liverpool cant win this title now. Not with this league getting disruptions and two games per week with their squad...and not against a City team that can smash in 5/6/7 goals every game...and they can still bring in a forward to make doubly sure.

Rejoice. That was a fine point from Benitez's Babes tonight.
More like brands babes he was a champion of Gordon ,Dobbin, branthwaite and Godfrey

The fact that the team is playing for him and putting a fighting shift in shows us that he has the support of the players at the moment and is able to get something out of them. Let’s hope we can go on a better run when we start getting some first team players back.
Would you say it was the youngsters putting a shift in for him, or the youngsters putting a shift in for themselves, because finally an opportunity has arisen? (And they’ve taken said chance)

A few more performances like that and Jaffa will be having us detractors eating humble pie.

Whilst it was a, shall we say, spirited performance. I don't know if a few more of these result in us taking any points.

I see Dave has gone with "Benitez's Babes" to describe the young tyros who cheated the odds to take a brave point at the home of the reigning European champions tonight.

In deference to the manager's many admirers, may I propose the alternative moniker: the "Waiter's Waifs" as a potential sobriquet?

Halcyon days.

And now this coward is saying something after months of silence.

Is he seriously giving Benitez credit for this result?

I’ll always give credit where it’s due, but we were lucky not to be about 9 down at half time. Pickford had his best game of the season.

The only thing I’ll credit Benitez with, is his set piece tactics that seem to allow a free header to the opposition almost every time.
