Between Selhurst Park and the Ataturk which stadium gives you the warmest feeling?
Forget about picking holes in other posters postings.. give us something positive..

Give us the name of the manager you want to replace Benitez who is the answer to all these problems... just one name will do...

This delay of games potentially will save benitez. If you hate him and want him gone, then covid has kept him here until the end of the season, results pending.

It means his control on the club will grow , his claws will be in every aspect around the team.

All it takes is for a few players to arrive in the next few weeks and results turn around for him to get the stay of execution for the rest of the season.

Normally this would be a great thing but selling our best players slowly and no guarantee the results will change too greatly, it may well be another Silva scenario.

So sacked by November is my guess, with another 5-6 players we need to ship out after less than a year.

For me the main difference between Ancelotti and our current manager is that for periods Ancelotti’s Everton played good ,even very good, football, where as Benitez’ teams have not.
In fact throughout his career Benitez has favoured the kind of boring football I have come to despise and I certainly do not relish watching it played by an Everton team forevermore.
Can I just ask.. how do are you comparing Ancelotti’s Everton to Benitez’ one when Benitez has not had the luxury of fielding his full strenghth team yet.. also Ancelotti had the benefit of spending a lot more money on players he wanted which might explain why you thought his team was better to watch...

You might think it’s fairer to judge both when they have both been given same money and same amount of time... just a thought..

How many games do you think ancellotti played with his 'full strength squad'?

If you can only judge a manager when they have their 'full strength squad', meaning no injuries, then you can't judge pretty much any manager as how often does that actually happen?

Weekly across the park like .....

Of the kids mentioned only Gordon is realistically going to get meaningful mins unless we still the illness situation like thurs.
He was forced into that, not his doing. He will revert back to Rondon stinking the place

That is my worry, though based solely on how they have performed playing for us I cannot see a footballing reason why Rondon should start ahead of Simms or Dobbin. They are both better players than Rondon is and are going to be much more likely to play well against the likes of Burnley, Norwich etc

This is ridiculous, come on, you could write away any result doing this. ‘We lost to Liverpool because of the personal flair of Salah’.

The manager is accountable for all results, the losses definitely but unfortunately rely for his detractors you have to credit him also with the wins.
I understand and agree somewhat with your point and I certainly walked out of the ground with a smile on my face for a change.
But I was still largely unimpressed with the tactical set up and didn’t enjoy us surrendering so much space to the opposition which is this managers signature.
I would also point out that Arsenal had enough opportunities to at least gain a draw which wouldn’t have been undeserved.
Likewise the impressive draw against Chelsea wouldn’t have been possible without the personal brilliance of Pickford.
Look , ultimately I despise the tactics this manager employs and I always have, I dislike having to watch them week in and week out. So unless he radically changes his methods and style I will never be happy with his tenure.

That's not true though is it. As much as we like to say it. They were decimated by injuries last season, as we were. I haven't paid much attention to them this season, but I believe VVD was out last game and firmino has been out a while.
Most weeks they are full strength aren't they? I'm the same , my apathy towards us has made me not even consider what they are up to ?

Two players out is hardly similar to us though to be fair when we didn't have that much to begin with. Suppose one good thing is that peado being gone means we haven't carried him in the team and wondered why we offer anything going forward like the last few years.

Would have preferred a transfer fee for him though, typical Everton to have a terrible midfielder for our record signing and not even get a penny for him

Experience.

Rondon may be crap but he know the game far more than the young ones do. That's why managers don't just throw young players in every week unless they deserve to be there.

One thing having a moment of magic, another for a young midfielder to have a 90 minute game plan, or a striker knowing how to play off defenders without coming up short.

Rondon if our only fit striker should be starting because he knows the game far more. However there should be much more of a plan for the young ones to replace him or join him to offer something different.

I would consider full strength meaning having your first choice starting 11 available. Even one inury from that is not full strength. Yes their strength in depth is better, as is city's etc but in terms of having best 11 available, it's rare.

In terms of the point about ancelotti, he played 4 games last year with what I would consider his 'first choice 11'. First 3 games which he won and the 5th game of the season which he drew with the mutants. At no other point in the league did he have all 11 available.

My only issue with losing siggy, after having also lost James, is they can both create a moment out of nothing, even when they are playing poor. And think we will miss that and they both often saw passes that noone else would.

Having had fourteen games experience of him I cannot disagree more with this.

I know one of them was injured, but if Simms or Dobbin had those fourteen games I think we'd have more points, and they'd have scored / set up more than Rondon does. We sacrifice so much to accomodate his immobility up front and it manifestly isn't worth it.
