You do not have to have to an Evertonian to take part in the forum or don’t you read the posts from the moderator..

If you are a sensible fan who puts across valid reasons then it’s in everybodies interest to listen.. take on board and then either agree with them or debate them on the forum... what on earth has what team somebody supports got to do with it.. you can’t judge anybody by who they support just what they say and if it makes sense or not which is important..

If an Evertonian said Howard Kendall was a lucky manager rather than a good manager and. a Man United fan came on and said Duncan Ferguson was arguably the best header of the ball in Premiership history.. you telling me you would dismiss the United fans point and discuss the point made by the Evertonian based on who they support...

Just finished David Prentice's book A Grand Old Team to Report.

It's interesting, some decent nuggets of information and captures a period of Everton history from the 80s to date reasonably well ( albeit with a slanted view of the Echo) .

He was / is very close to a number of then players not least Unsworth which perhaps explains why there is no criticism of the Academy.

Anyway I digress. When Kenwright appointed Martinez. Prentice says he told him it was a bad decision.

Kenwright asked him who he would have appointed and he replied 'Benitez'.

This was written when Ancelotti was still the manager.

So it got me thinking ....could Prentice , the supposed super Everton fan really be @Theoneandonly ?

I’ve never put too much stock in manager press conferences.

That said, in all my time, I don’t think there’s a manager who I’ve thought came across as a bigger slimeball. I literally don’t trust a word he says, lies to your face and smiles about it.

This is an issue which is dividing Evertonians as it is and it certainly doesn’t help when some half interested no mark insists on butting in with his own unsolicited points of view about a club he has no emotional ties to.
I mean the odd passing comment is understandable but not this intense lobbying you are engaged in,
So do me a favour lad and keep your nose out of our business ,which doesn’t concern you anyway, and concentrate on supporting your own team , whoever that may be.

I feel quite sorry for you my mate, you live in such a small world.. would love to know the following..

If you go to your local shop because you have ran out of milk.. do you walk another mile and a half because the person serving is a kopite..
What happens if you get on a bus and the driver has a Liver Bird tattoo.. do you get off and wait for another one...
If you go to the doctors and you find out he’s a big red fan.. do you not take his advice and ask to be seen by a blue fan instead
What happens if your local priest is a staunch red.. do you change religion and or go to another church..

Like I say you seem very small minded to feel so threatened where you tell people to not be involved in a topic...

Tell you what mate.. answer me a simple question.. if Benitez leaves whose coming in to put all the things right that this nasty man Benitez has caused to your belovered club..

Surely you think its fair I try to defend myself. I think it is small minded to close your mind to a person making a genuine and valid point and vasung it on a club he may or not support..

If its sensible whats what a person is saying whats the problem.. if you don't agree provide an alternative view or maybe skip past the post and ignore it.
