Are the Benitez lovers liking our league position?
A defeat or even a draw against Newcastle and he's toast
Yep.. like he was toast v Brentford... Watford... Q.P.R.,,, Villa..West Ham...Wolves...Liverpool and Palace to name but a few...

Like a poster said previously.. he will be judged start of next season after summer transfer window... not before..

Beat Arsenal and drew away to the European champions.

You are clearly loving all of this and desperate for it to continue!

You have basically sided with Jamie Carragher and Slippy G.

I never understand the '5 other managers players' argument, that happens to just about any club every season when changing managers, a managers job is to get the team, of premier league footballers, playing for him, utter nonsense saying he can't get them to play because he didn't sign them.

Just think that back to yourself and realise how dumb it is.

Many of Man City/Liverpool starting 11 players are Pep/Klopp signings.

Moyes has signed about 6 of West Hams starting 11 when fit.

Most of Villa's starting 11 were Dean Smiths signings ditto Leeds / many of their stalwarts have been under Biesla for a number of years now.

Most of Wolves signings were Nuno/Mendes and suited one system.

Palace were built under Woy for years as are Southampton under Hassanhuttl.

Our fans have dined on sacking managers every 12 months and simply dont give patience anymore.

When everyones fit Benitez has 2 of his own players in the starting 11 (and one of them himself acknowledged he should only be a squad player).

Any sensible supporter gives this fella or any other manager 2 seasons mimimum before making a judgement on whether they need booting or not particularly after the glut of injuries and lack of investment in the summer.

It's a rotten agenda from some and a lack of patience from others.

It doesn't matter, it is his job that he gets paid handsomely for to get the team gelling. These are top professionals, even if we don't think they are, a good manager can still get a system in place to get the best out of them. He seems to just want to make them play his style and they're not doing very well.

There are extenuating circumstances for it...many of which are resolving themselves in the next month, so I'll judge this manager over the whole season and not the first half of it.
Totally get that.

Everyone posting here knows we have had a terrible time with injuries and ffp

But you have to admit, poor tactical choices have been made on a regular basis, this has not helped his already poor popularity level.

I think Everton and Benitez must win at least 5 of the next 7 fixtures

@davek we are sorry to see that you have had a relapse, mate. Please try and be strong, these things happen.

Remember the steps of the programme and try and follow this each day. Please do not give up, there is still hope.
  1. Make sure you’re safe. Make sure that you block your Kopite groomer’s number and social media accounts, getting the mods involved, or as a last resort, you may even have to consider moving to another forum.
  2. Inform and protect your GOT friends. A lot of people being groomed by Kopites tell their friends about their experience, but many keep it a secret or think it’s embarrassing. In reality, you don’t always need to explain exactly why you became so obsessive about a Liverpool legend but you can still let other posters know in order to keep them safe and bring awareness.
  3. Talk it out. Halewoodblue is a very trusted and emotionally mature friend, to who you can just let it all out. That said I am here if you would prefer to PM me?
  4. Stop romanticising about Benitez. Since Kopite grooming is simply emotional manipulation, you may feel a range of emotions including a desire to go on a tour of Anfield and so forth. This is normal but can be dangerous since if these feelings are not stopped you are likely to be easily groomed again and could end up loving Klopp.
  5. Find healthy relationships and cultivate them. It is apparent that you are losing contact with true Evertonian's. It’s important to identify the true blues of GOT, those that understand that James was our best player and avoid toxic relationships with suspects such as the Fart Balloon.
  6. Take away the Benitez love fest and remember that you are an Evertonian, just like Digne, Calvert-Lewin and big Dunc. Kopite groomers eventually leave the groomed person addicted to singing 'you’ll never walk alone' and collecting signed pictures of Jamie Carragher. It can be important to get rid of these things and help the healing process. If you’re left dependent on singing you’ll never walk alone, get help from therapists or hotlines.
  7. Reclaim your personality and traits. Some people who have been groomed by Kopites feel “tainted” when they realise that they have had a false sense of feeling in love with Benitez. Remember your deep hatred for all things red. Let yourself move beyond this Benitez obsession and acknowledge that you have a lot of great traits and are a blue.
God bless you, mate.

There is no doubt that our record this season is poor.
In many ways a follow on from our record since Christmas 2020.

There is also no doubt in my opinion if we are still struggling like this in twelve months then the manager will be in danger of losing his job.

If we still have a tiny squad, a crippling injury crisis in twelve months time then I do think we will struggle and that won't change if we get a different manager.

It is really now down to the owners to support the manager otherwise he will have to work miracles.

I think you're the one facing the danger of indoctrination.

I'm not the one under the control of others, you are. The self styled "MEGA" group of underminers and cry babies.
