Totally get that.

Everyone posting here knows we have had a terrible time with injuries and ffp

But you have to admit, poor tactical choices have been made on a regular basis, this has not helped his already poor popularity level.

I think Everton and Benitez must win at least 5 of the next 7 fixtures
He's failed to use Dobbin and Simms during a striker crisis. I think that's the major criticism for me.

Absolutely astonished last night. A jokey suggestion to swap Moyes and Benitez properly got a core of posters falling over themselves to denounce a former time served Everton manager in favour of a fading Benitez.

Let that sink in. Moyes, an imperfect, yet very good manager for us (who rebuilt the club from a shocking position and whom only first season Martinez has arguably performed comparatively since), thrown to the dogs so people can slaver over Benitez. Regardless of Moyes' merits, that's really sad to see.

Before anyone starts I've been pretty neutral on Benitez up until the Derby, that's what did it for me. Maybe he'll turn it around, maybe not.

Just find it hard to understand why folk are happy throwing our own under the bus in his name?
Yep I know how you feel about being astonished.. how could anybody want a manager like Moyes who done so well in Spain and the mighty Sunderland.. and looks to have had his honeymoon purple patch at West Ham well and truly over with one win in seven.. ahead of a manager who has won trophies and has more experience...

Quite bafffling... maybe your “ our own “ comment is behind your point as this seems to be you driving criteria.. what about an appointment of.. Rooney... Big Dunc... or maybe see what Phil Neville is doing...

Still head patting Evertonians I see, you enormous quilt.

Funny how you are here slagging off the best manager we have had in the last 2 decades, using a couple of his failed jobs as a beating stick, while promoting a kopite manager who has been at the mighty Newcastle and mighty Dalian Pro (getting relegated with 1 and only surviving through playoff at another), who has done nothing with us to earn time, but has led us to our worst run in nearly 3 decades.

While the manager you are slagging off is 6th in the league and through the group stages in Europe.

Your mask is slipping and showing your kopite face pal. Not that it was a good mask in the first place.

Hello matey, for a Dalian fan you are very invested in what Evertonians think about Benitez aren't you?

So, as @nsno-chris has already requested, come clean, which poster are you?

I suspect if the usual cheese on toast option had been available the people wanting Benitez out would have been about 10%.

You need to accept your race is run on forcing Benitez's dismissal
. That chance evaporated after the derby when Moshiri chose Benitez over his DoF.
This is what it’s all about for you isn’t it Dave? Acting obnoxious and trying to belittle proper Evertonians, who care more about the club than you.

I mean, when he was appointed you were calling him a shockingly bad manager. Yet here we are, 6 places off the bottom of the league and you are backing him unreservedly, while at the same time seemingly pleased that other Evertonians are worried about the direction the club is going in.

You really are massively weird aren’t you David?

Listen Moyes has had a purple patch.. he will soon find his natural level as will West Ham.. they are a top six to ten team and that’s all they are.. Moyes is a bog standard Premier League manager nothing more.. what did he actually achieve at Everton? One top four finish and never came close before or after that one season.. he never even won a trophy.. you carry on with your opinion he’s the best manager in two decades... tell you what if Benitez can win a League Cup or F.A.Cup in next two seasons he will then be the best manager in two decades because that will be more than Moyes achieved..

How has my mask slipped... never had one on to begin with... just a person who takes a broad interest across the board in most of the Premiership clubs.. not breaking any rules am aware of with that..

We finished 5th twice under him as well, 6th, 7th 4 times. So he did come close.

Purple patch over a season and a half? He saved them from relegation before being let go, then was brought back in to save them again before the following season getting 6th, where they are now. Hardly a purple patch. A purple patch would be being unbeaten in like 5 games, and then winning 1 from 11 following that. Benitez was the definition of purple patch this season.

It's not an opinion either, in the last 2 decades, has moyes been our best manager? Only one to get us to finals, regularly had us in Europe and our highest finish. Please show me which manager has done better for us in that time.

You don't support us, so stop trying to tell our fans how to think or feel. It's egotistical of you to think you have that right or that you know better when you don't know anything about us other than what you quickly Google or you have learnt from having supported Liverpool your entire life.

If benitez does win a trophy, then yes he would be deemed more successful. If that is while we are flirting with relegation, then maybe not. He hasn't earnt the same respect Moyes had with us. And only a kopite would suggest that he has. Because so far, benitez has won nothing with us. Hell, he has barely won a game with us.
