Yep.. like he was toast v Brentford... Watford... Q.P.R.,,, Villa..West Ham...Wolves...Liverpool and Palace to name but a few...

Like a poster said previously.. he will be judged start of next season after summer transfer window... not before..
Yeah thanks for reminding us all of the inept performance's we have witnessed under this fella.

As you're a kopite i know you would love him to stay but he will be judged on results which is something he really struggles with:bye:

Tick tock.......

You keep using injuries and transfer spend as justification for Benitez' failings(though Ranieri and Gerrard put paid to that) yet you say Moyes who had close to a net spend of nothing over years achieving Europe and being in the mix more often than not, including semis and final is no achievement? Where/when has Benitez won anything when not a club with rich resources or a top squad already in place? Compare like with like or not at all, you don't get it both ways.
No I think your right.. Moyes management is an achievement and him along with Wenger at the time will be first and second in the European Champions league of Charter and Balance sheet League... only problem with that is we are talking about football not money and the criteria for that competition is trophies and success and Wenger towards the end and Moyes at Everton were bottom of the league in that sadly...

But what about the sky sports brigade (fans under 30) mate. You have implied several times that their views aren't as valid and are wrong because sky is all about money.

(To point out your hypocrisy you then have posted about how you like man city for how they have done in recent year)
The SKY sports brigade have different mentalities to older more traditional points of view.. no shocks there so not saying anything wrong.. Players I enjoy watching from certain teams do give me some enjoyment yes.. not as much as a Frank Worthington.. Stan Bowles or. Tony Currie for instance but they are still good players in another way.. again.. are you saying people can’t admire players from other clubs.. don’t really get what your saying sorry my friend...

So you say we should be happy to have benitez because he has won trophies in his past.

But you are disparaging wenger because he only won 3 fa cups and 3 charity shields in his last 5 years in management. What trophies has benitez won in his last 5 years?

Nothing wrong with them having different points of view but you have made out like it's a bad thing and your more 'traditional' views are better.

You are also wrong, I share similar views to many posters on here who you would define as having more 'traditional' views yet I am a SKY Sports brigade by age.

You were talking about the club and owners, not players fella. You know, the club and owners who are all about money, the same as Sky.

'Hello, you've reached ToffeePot. I'm sorry I can't reply to your comment right now, as I am currently spending most of my time on another fan forum, of a team I don't support, trying to convince their fans that their manager is world class. It is a thankless, pointless task, yet I will persevere because I have nothing better to do. I am not sure when I will return to this forum, as this meaningless mission will no doubt take up a considerable amount of time, but for reasons known only to me, I have plenty of time to spend on pointless ventures. I will get back to you as soon as this weird obsession falls lower on my priority list'
