Even Ferguson at Utd had some very mediocre squads that won league titles. Moyes got us CL with Marcus Bent. Similarly Kendall in 87 battled through with some iffy players - but that’s what top managers do. Turn average players into very good ones.

The thing is Kevin you would have seen SAF, Kendall & Moyes sacked before all three turned average starts to their club tenures around.

Thats why no sane Evertonian can take you seriously!

You mentioned Fergie having mediocre squads and I pointed out that he built a basis by breaking the British transfer records year on year when close to the sack. Took him about 4 or so seasons to be able to spend all that money and build a great team. Time was given and that time brought rewards. Similar to Kendall

Again who is putting Benitez on the level of Ferguson or Kendall?

You? Ok then…

These were managers at the early part of their careers when they began with Utd and Everton. not washed up has been from China.

But you're basing that on hindsight only - the Utd fans baying for Fergies blood at the time would have never predicted the dynasty he would later go on to create.

Likewise our fans with Kendall. None of us would have ever imagined Moyes would take us into 4th a season after finishing 17th.

The problem is you lack any kind of reasoning or patience.

I’ve heard it all now.

The Kopite pig is now Ferguson and Kendall rolled into one and must be given 5 years with no money by which point we will be in league 1.

What’s that got to do with a bad manager like Benitez?

You can sit there and pretend this is all inevitable but it isn’t.

Benitez is only at the club because of one man.

He will also only remain at the club because of one man.
