Think it is you with twisted logic. Look at it logically. The haters get Benitez out now.........massive dent in the FFP due to compo....new manager comes in and has to work with the same players. Could be fortunate that all our players have recovered from injury and we once again have the same or similar team that started the season.
Looking at logic we may as well stick with Benitez and see what he does with players that he gets and players that will play to his instruction rather than be pampered. Enough of this having a new manager each time miracles are not performed. We are a mid-table team and that is obvious to the people in the real world so with very little money that will rule out so called top managers. Available to us may be the likes of Ferguson and Rooney.......that would be a massive gamble that is not worth the risk. See how we end the season, see how the summer sales go and who we can bring in with the money from those sales. See if the youngsters can step up and show if they have a chance in the PL. Time for change as these same players have shown nothing to suggest they can gel as a team that will challenge for top 6. A restructure of staff and players is what is needed and unfortunately this will not happen overnight as we have seen over the last 5 or 6 seasons. I really hope Benitez guts this team so we can start afresh. Just for your information even if we had Nunes or Potter in charge now I would be saying the same thing. That is what some people don't understand. Regardless of who was in charge I think most Evertonians would want to stick rather than spin the revolving door for another manager.
Doesn’t answer the problem of the crap , negative, boring dirgeball we will have to sit and watch while we are waiting to see if he’s any good for us though.

He's going to need to work a lot of magic in the window.

Should be half a dozen players (at least) moved on and a few brought in to replace them.

He's said hes 200% confident of bringing in players early + 8th is nothing + the 2nd half of the season will be much improved.

We really need 2 full backs signed along with a right winger and a defensive midfielder.

Ferguson in each of his barren seasons broke the British transfer records until he achieved success so that is spending big to get the basis of a good team.

You cannot make mediocre players great players but you can turn them into a team eventually 'given time'.

I really do not know what you expect and you again pointed out that we need a top manager.....please explain who this top manager may be and how you would sell the club to them starting with the obvious....we are unable to provide you money to spend....door slams on his way out with loud laughter.
You have absolutely no chance of getting names out of the Benitez haters of who they want to replace him with who has the silver bullet.. been asking that question for ages and the silence is deafening.. that’s why there opinion is flawed...

No sane evertonian would attempt to equate Ferguson and Kendall with Benitez!
But there not are they.. what they are doing is compare the start of those managers as the same as Benitez before things started to get better and it’s exactly the same.. fans wanted all those managers out because of results at the start of there managerial careers at those clubs..

A top manager is someone who is progressive, tries varying styles to suit what he has available.

All we’ve seen from this dinosaur is the same formation, with players plugged into positions to suit his requirements rather than the teams, and his stubbornness in sticking with his failed zonal marking - something which failed him 15 years ago in the premiere league

Wrong you head patting weirdo. Both Ferguson and Kendall were young and open to new ways of playing. Benitez is a dinosaur who has played the same way for years.

Including bringing the RS to the brink of financial collapse and destroying the best Italian side in the space of 6 months

Sorry mate you have lost me a bit there..
Quick question.. when Ferguson.. Kendall and Benitez careers are looked back on and are finally judged what order will they line up regarding who was the best given on what they won? You can’t use sentiment just facts...

You can look at this in broadly two ways.
1) He is being decisive. He understands its not working and is willing to take the steps needed to rectify this, even if it means making tough, challenging decisions.

2) He is deceiving people. Essentially saying the right things but will continue as we are.

If he does the former, he will get support. If hes pulling the wool over peoples eyes, people will legitimate criticise him.

I don't think you understand football if you think the formation, tactics, zonal marking has been the same throughout all the games.
