he's blatantly on no.2

a snake oil salesman of the worst kind. causing untold damage under the cover of 'necessary change'

"untold damage" lol

Removing a DOF who spent £250 million on largely tat.

Removing a head of recovery who had overseen the worst injury crisis in our recent history

Potentially removing a LB who whilst I dont mind would be no real loss and has been poor for near 18 months now.

If thats untold damage you've been living in a cave the past 25 years lol

You’ve not been looking at the league table then ?

And the fact that Moshiri/Usmanov are now in charge of transfer strategy

Sorry mate you have lost me a bit there..
Quick question.. when Ferguson.. Kendall and Benitez careers are looked back on and are finally judged what order will they line up regarding who was the best given on what they won? You can’t use sentiment just facts...
To be honest how dare you pass yourself off as an Evertonian , take the great man’s name out of your mouth.

I don't need to look at the table to know come the end of game 38 we'll be midtable mediocrity as we have been for the past 4-5 seasons regardless of who the manager in the dug out is be it world class Carlo, Progressive Young Silva or worst manager of all time Benitez.

Until the squad improves we are going nowhere.

Quite the u-turn mate?

We’re a mess all over the pitch and so far his decisive nature has included, and is limited to, booting out our decent LB to sign an unproven one. Marvellous stuff.
He is not a decent left back if his mentality is wrong.. plus the fact you are basing his ability on past performances.. he’s been awful this season by his own standards and his best days are behind him.. you gonna disagree with that..

In terms of challenging for places for Europe then yes, i would agree. However there is improvement to be had within the current squad, I don't care what anyone says it's just that we keep employing the wrong individuals to extract it and I would apply that to all the appointments under Moshiri.

Yes you massive kopite slug, he’s being grossly mismanaged by this fat odious pig

How do you know what his own standards are? How do you know when his best days were?

You’ve been paying attention for 6 months.

The thing is Kevin you would have seen SAF, Kendall & Moyes sacked before all three turned average starts to their club tenures around.

Thats why no sane Evertonian can take you seriously!
Moyes, for starters, didn’t have an “average start”. He pulled us clear of a relegation battle, then got us to 7th in his first full season.

His second full season was a very poor finish, but despite the way the final table looks, we were never in any realistic danger of relegation. But his first 1.3 seasons had EARNED him the patience he got that season.

Benitez hasn’t had an “average start” either - he’s had a shocking one, including our worst run of results in NEARLY 30 YEARS.

As for Ferguson and Kendall, you’re going back nearly 40yrs to get those examples, and they’ve been quoted for that long as defences of failing managers. You know WHY they’re still being quoted? Because they’re the exceptions. Usually failing managers do just that…. Fail.

The problem is mate is recruitment has ultimately undermined our last few managers Ancelotti aside.

Koeman finished 7th and got us into Europe - we then sell Lukaku that summer and somehow Walsh spends £150 million on complete rubbish/dont replace Romelu and we struggle and he gets sacked.

Silva finished 8th in which our summer business that season was on the whole good (Richarlison, Mina, Digne, Zouma).

But the following summer instead of building on that 8th place/good season of recruitment Brands then sells Gana one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe and replaces him with two donkeys in Delph & Gbamin, he doesn't bring in a much needed experienced CF (DCL was still not at the required level at that point) and instead signs a 19 year old from Italy with an attitude problem who coincidently had the same agent as our DOF.

We also lose Zouma back to Chelsea and fail to replace him - Silva struggles and he gets sacked.

We can blame these managers but ultimately poor recruitment and not replacing key players has led us down the road we are currently on.

A problem in itself

But in the absence of a DoF there can logically only be one answer to that - the owner
The owners brought in the best DOF they thought would work in Walsh and Brands.. both proved that DOF don’t work if you look at the players recruited.. the Decision on what players will fit in and will be good enough should rest with the person who runs the team and trains them.. the manager... afterall it’s his head on the block so he should be responsible nobody else...

Just for the record besides maybe City.. which other Club has a DOF been a success...
