The thing is Kevin you would have seen SAF, Kendall & Moyes sacked before all three turned average starts to their club tenures around.

Thats why no sane Evertonian can take you seriously!

You mentioned Fergie having mediocre squads and I pointed out that he built a basis by breaking the British transfer records year on year when close to the sack. Took him about 4 or so seasons to be able to spend all that money and build a great team. Time was given and that time brought rewards. Similar to Kendall
Sorry to break it to you gents, but I don't think Benitez is particularly renowned for building teams over a period of seasons. Post Liverpool the longest he's been anywhere is Newcastle.

Maybe that's a reflection of modern football, but it doesn't instil the sense he's the man to build or rebuild a club.

Think it is you with twisted logic. Look at it logically. The haters get Benitez out now.........massive dent in the FFP due to compo....new manager comes in and has to work with the same players. Could be fortunate that all our players have recovered from injury and we once again have the same or similar team that started the season.
Looking at logic we may as well stick with Benitez and see what he does with players that he gets and players that will play to his instruction rather than be pampered. Enough of this having a new manager each time miracles are not performed. We are a mid-table team and that is obvious to the people in the real world so with very little money that will rule out so called top managers. Available to us may be the likes of Ferguson and Rooney.......that would be a massive gamble that is not worth the risk. See how we end the season, see how the summer sales go and who we can bring in with the money from those sales. See if the youngsters can step up and show if they have a chance in the PL. Time for change as these same players have shown nothing to suggest they can gel as a team that will challenge for top 6. A restructure of staff and players is what is needed and unfortunately this will not happen overnight as we have seen over the last 5 or 6 seasons. I really hope Benitez guts this team so we can start afresh. Just for your information even if we had Nunes or Potter in charge now I would be saying the same thing. That is what some people don't understand. Regardless of who was in charge I think most Evertonians would want to stick rather than spin the revolving door for another manager.

My poor eyes.

Again who is putting Benitez on the level of Ferguson or Kendall?

You? Ok then…

These were managers at the early part of their careers when they began with Utd and Everton. not washed up has been from China.
He isnt a washed up has been, not any more, we have revitalised him, now it's his job to revitalize us and with the support of the fan base we are on the road to recovery.
Its a long road with a few twists and turns, but get on the bandwagon before it's too late #TeamBenitez

We are using 'Time' as the equation. Didn't you see that or do you want to twist it into comparisons between managers that was not there.
You’re equating time with success, which it doesn’t.

Flip side, if you give the wrong man time, the more damage they do to the club.

Man Utd and Everton appointed the right men and gave them time and they succeeded. So what. You can’t conclude that all managers should be given years in the job. Well, you could but…

Maybe he couldn’t do anything with the awful players he inherited.. sounds a bit familiar eh... maybe those players already at the club couldn’t fit the system he wanted to play and to be honest I also don’t know if ant injuries played a part in Newcastle’s demise that season, we do know first hand how if your main players are injured or not available it deffo impacts results...
Surely it’s a managers job to devise a system to suit the players he has at his disposal, no?
