I’ve always tried to give the benefit of the doubt to the manager.
I wanted our club to move forward so I was of the opinion that we are stronger if we stick together. I wanted Rafael to do well.
Today was an eye opener on 2 things
1. He cut his nose off to spite his face by playing Coleman on the left. No balance to the team and it showed after about 2 minutes. No change as the manager is too stubborn.
2. The defence is shambolic. The coaching frankly isn’t good enough. We concede far too easily especially from zonal marking. That’s on the manager and coaches. We can’t sustain this

I think this is a bridge too far now. The end could be soon.

This club really gets me down

The on/off sacking of Benitez.

He's been "on the verge" of being sacked for the last 3 months and he's still here and about to spend more cash on more players.

What's that saying? Change the things you can change and acdept those things we cant?

That fits the bill here.

Settle down for the season and then we can address the situation then.

He'll get all his own players inand then be judged.

That will be the owner's take on this.

The demnands for his sacking: I dont take serioulsy. It's not serious discussion; it's feet stamping.
it's concern for the club's future in the division, and even if we do survive, it's concern for the club's future style of play and limitations of its manager... that not serious no?

It isn't, it's genuine concern now. The foot stamping is from people who believed this would happen from the get go and are genuinely being proved correct, week after week after week.

If Benitez is awful then so must Ancelotti, Koeman & Silva who all underachieved here.

There is a common denominator at the club and its not the manager.

I do agree he's struggling at present.
The board don’t pick the team, they don’t coach the players, they don’t determine the tactics or formations and neither are they responsible for motivating the players.

That is all on Benitez and once again he’s made a dogs arse if it all.

It’s not working with him and it never will

I mean I agree that the managers listed underachieved.

How do you explain Carlo getting 59points last season, and the huge drop off this season?

Who is responsible for that? The boards the same, the players in large are the same...

So what's different?

Are you lumping in with the people who think the manager is getting £40M this window and then getting sacked shortly?

Ludicrous if so.
