For me mate, it was win a cup.

Nothing less would make this appointment worth while. A final and I might let my personal opinion on a dinosaur of a manager subside for a while, this was always going to be an awful appointment.

The lineup tomorrow is going to be make or break.

BBC can smell it... I know they can.

When he lifted the Florida Cup thats when I said to meself "you'll do for me bonnie lad".

Cant believe some people harping on about a player not wanting to play for a manager. You sign for Everton Football Club. You play for Everton.Football Club. I don't care who the manager is, if a player is refusing to play they can get out. I have no problem with Benitez weeding out players with weak mentality. So long as he replaces them with hungry young players who have some quality I'm fine with it

The people kicking up the biggest stink about Benitez were probably waving Carlo Fantástico banners around while he achieved nothing aside from leaving us with an overpaid YouTube show pony.

How many times have you seen that though mate? Have you EVER with all the god awful managers we have had, seen a player come out and say this is rubbish the manager isn't doing this this and this.

Its scripted, timed and transparent.

I don't doubt that he might be helping one or two players - but our form, position in the league and the way we play says otherwise.
