He won't have many excuses if we don't
Substitute wishing by indifference to a defeat. Same in my eyesHow is it wishing defeat on the club?
Complete coincidence that of all the people from Everton's past he could have named he chose someone who'd made a critical comment on social media at the weekend then yes. If you really believe that then all your posts about believing what Benitez said about Digne have just lost all their credibility.Benítez made frequent references to Reid and said they were not a criticism of the club legend but an example of the winning mentality that needs rebuilding at Everton.
He said: “When I was talking about Peter Reid, I was talking about someone who cares, who was always pushing for the best from everyone on the pitch. That was the idea. So when I talk about that I am talking about myself also wanting everything from the players. When they do not do that, I can be upset.”
In fairness Hull are flying won 4 out of the last 10 , we can but dream .The bookies seem to very strongly of that opinion too.
Oh...it appears you left out the run of games of top clubs they had to face...funny that.
And now we have Benitez we can't even do that. No, most likely over several years. That is obviously not the only factor.
Another factor is that Benitez inherits a team that is among the least trained in the PL, especially after Ancelotti's regime. Basically the only thing they can do is defend themselves within the penalty area, make a long pass up to DCL, get a corner, and maybe score. Fortunately, Gray and AT have been good signings. Gordon was loaned out last season. Luckily we have someone who trained a little last season.
Peter ReidWhats happened in the presser
I would guess he thinks they should be in their potting sheds at this time of yearWonder what Peter Reid thinks of managers who have 19 points from 18 games?
Not Hull according to Dave, and he's presumably written off AFCON and injury depleted Leicester as an expected loss, but Norwich, we're going to snot Norwich. All hail the Rafatollah!Imagine being excited because we might beat Hull & Norwich . Let the good times roll , this bloke has transformed us that’s for sure .It’s a minimum Expectation we win both and we need to .
Anyone hoping he loses I’m afraid that’s not an option we’re running out of winnable games we need them league wins and points on the board asap . I think its a big ask but the next few games we need wins if he’ll have done what nobody’s done in most of our lifetimes and I’ll always remember whose responsibility it is and who cheered it on . Fingers crossed the new players help and we start putting this relegation issue and the season in the rear view .
You’re wasting your time, the vultures have lost all objectivity now“When I was talking about Peter Reid, I was talking about someone who cares, who was always pushing for the best from everyone on the pitch. That was the idea. So when I talk about that I am talking about myself also wanting everything from the players. When they do not do that, I can be upset.”
I think that's a perfectly fair explanation, we'd all be better moving on and focusing on stuff that matters. Like not winning games
He stabilised Newcastle all the way to the ChampionshipHe stablised Newcastle and Chelsea.
To go with our Brighton points presumablyNot Hull according to Dave, and he's presumably written off AFCON and injury depleted Leicester as an expected loss, but Norwich, we're going to snot Norwich. All hail the Rafatollah!
He had 10 games and they were one point from safety when he took over. Next.He had a handful of games to save a doomed Newcastle and then got them back up the following season and then stabilised them in the PL.
